Do you find it hard to move past or let go of past hurts and disappointments?

I know the difference.
It's trust being broken vs physical pain. But it still has the same response of a person not wanting it to happen. Why does the outcome matter to the differences of the "wired human brain" if most people have the same end result to both?

Oh. I think it has to do with how logical a person is. Seems more like your reasoning is based on emotions vs logic.
Feeling like a person is ignoring you vs what's actually happening (logically)
Or maybe I'm taking it too literally since both examples are about how a person feels.

I tried that, it didn't work. i've been spending a lot of time trying to figure out why there seems to be disconnect between what/who I am now, and what actually makes me happy.
I've done therapy, using the meds, meditation, focusing on the future, forgiveness, talking to the people that were part of the problem (or at-least i perceived as part of the problem) etc. but the improvement is almost always temporary.

When I was younger I had lots of trouble letting things go. Now, no real issues. I think maturity helps quite a bit and understanding that you can't control everything in your favor.

I probably should've said about a third of you fire suns and moons. Not all of you. You seem to be one of the good ones on here.

As far as the mute thing goes, it didn't work on my end. I was still getting notifications from the muted user/s more so than the ones not muted. Unless Duncan done fix it now I don't know and quite honestly don't care to know. I just post and move the heck on. I don't bother nobody on here. I'm a family and business man. I personally have a really hard time getting past things, especially the ones that had a betrayal component. No matter the amount of "work" tI do around these issues, they always seem to come up as the reason why I'm not able to commit to relationships, or follow thru on my dreams/goals or even believe that i am capable of doing things....

I personally find it extremely hard to move on after a relationship!
Its because i put my everything into it and I'm loyal and dedicated and in for the long haul.
Once I'm in love and in a relationship I never want to leave. Even when bad things happen.
So being someone who wants to stay in it forever, even when its bad, can you imagine how hard it is getting over it when its over.
