Does a Scorpio man lose interest quickly or is it another "pretending not to care" thing?
Do Scorpios get bored easily?
Scorpios do not usually get bored easily, but they may suddenly go quiet, reply less, or act cold when the connection feels shallow, unsafe, or too predictable. Many people notice a Scorpio can still watch closely while pretending not to care. In real situations, boredom is possible, but withdrawal often means they are testing trust, protecting pride, or deciding whether the intensity is still there.
So I've been chatting to this guy for about 2 months, the thing is we "met" on a forum and while on there the "chemistry" even though online was pretty noticeable,things were playful and fun, then we moved to chatting over Instagram, where it was only the two of us and this is where things got pretty bland and kind of boring.
I don't want to go into details but sometimes he just goes cold, he has big mode swings but they're mostly when he's under stress or when he's tired, which I kind of learned to cope with. When he's like this I just turn it into joking if it doesn't seem like he's seriously stressed or I actually ask what's wrong and if he's okay if it seems like it's something bigger. But when I get moody he just gets moody back lol, it's like he has no interest in finding out the reason of why I'm being that way he just gets irritated and that's it.
We also tend to make a little breaks between texting, its mostly like 3 to 4 days and when we get back into it I just feel like he has already lost interest.
Firstly this is strange to me because I've never actually cared for anyone online in this nature since I just find it impossible to have a genuine connection over the internet and secondly I've never met someone with this many layers to their personality.
I'm a Leo btw.

hmm... welllllll..... I'm saying as an outsider looking inward not inward looking out.
It's all about perceptions...what we perceive, how we are perceived, and who we truly are.
What you might perceive as a caring individual, others might perceive as uncaring or caring but only when it's of your convenience...and who you truly are is a balance between the two. A person who believes he's being a caring individual but it's actually being portrayed in a way that doesn't display that in a conventional way.
🙂 I know Scorpio men care - but .......... I noticed it's only when they're in the mood for it - which is a very small window and for a short amount of time lol

Yeah that is the main issue and probably the reason I get bored with our convos
From my experience with scorpio men, this is common behavior. It's just their personality , so don't take it personally . I had one disappear & reappear at least once a week for months.

Tbh even if that was the case I don't really have the patience to wait for him to choose when to be hot, I would find it better if it's just him losing interest than him being like that and then when I cool off and he wants things back to hot, it could end up in him getting hurt if he just finds it normal to disappear and go cold even though he's still into the person because I don't find it normal lol

0_0 .... you're right! TOO much Scorpio. That means that he's going to run very hot/cold....my ex was Leo sun / Scorpio moon and he'd be very hot and cold once we became emotionally involved. In the beginning he was very warm and embracing ALL the time - then as I dug deep, where his emotions lied, I realized there was a lot of pain and darkness...
very selfish too....when he'd be moody - I'd always try and cheer him up; but GOD forbid if I ever was moody when he was having one of 'those days' because he'd be petty AND moody with me. He would ignore me when he'd get mad at me and when I would confront him he'd give me lame ass excuses -_- ... and he kind of laughed it off when I called BS ... but for the most part he'd always try and cheer me up when I was going through emotional distress
But..Scorpio moon is NO easy placement especially when they are THAT young. I see he has Sagittarius Pluto which means he probably is very young - around my nephews age 21 and younger. My ex was older but he still had a lot of issues... dealing with all that darkness is NO Bueno. I could tell the emotional struggle in his eyes - a lot of pain - lots of push/pull between him and I. When I'd get too close he'd push me away and when I was ready to walk he'd come back. It's a very intense and painful dynamic. I wouldn't recommend it.
That being said - what I experienced with my ex is exactly what it sounds like you will deal with especially because he's a Scorpio sun so he will embody a 'typical' Scorpio man. Remember Scorpios are ice - it can melt with your Leo sun powers lol - but you're both young and I don't see this working out. Same quality & challenging aspects take a lot of maturity from both individuals. And I can tell you aren't mature enough to sustain it (since you're already losing patience) and I doubt he is too.

Leo sun with Scorpio sun does well if the Scorpio has Fire or Air moon.
and you have an earth or water moon and most definitely if the Scorpio man has a stellium in libra.
i dont know why...but stellium in libras in Scorpio men seem to do very well with Fire suns/Air suns.

But, he and I share a sun, Venus and Mercury placement. For me, a texting or social media only relationship gets old really fast. I need real life interaction. It's hard to connect and evolve with someone when you can't look them in they eye or touch them.

and, OP, you said, you are not for long late night calls.... you seem so invested, so it must be that he is not calling you? I dont understand really what is going on

We are from different states but that wasn't an issue in the beggining because there was a plan of him comimg to visit BUT meanwhile I had some private issues and it came down to me having to move to Italy for 10 months.
So that's out of window lol
I guess you could be right and I am a little bored at this moment, like I said I do like him but I'm not that attached, I know that because I would be stright forward with him if I actually thought the relationship had any chance
But yeah I am still kind of hooked, I think I'll just take adive above and let it cool off on it's own, no point in getting any closer when it can't grow into a real thing

So I've been chatting to this guy for about 2 months, the thing is we "met" on a forum and while on there the chemistry even though online was pretty noticeable,things were playful and fun, then we moved to chatting over Instagram, where it was only the two of us and this is where things got pretty bland and kind of boring.
I don't want to go into details but sometimes he just goes cold, he has big mode swings but they're mostly when he's under stress or he's tired, which I kind of learned to cope with. When he's like this I just turn it into joking if it doesn't seem like he's seriously stressed or I actually ask what's wrong and if he's okay if it seems like it's something bigger. But when I get moody he just gets moody back lol, it's like he has no interest in finding out the reason of why I'm being that way he just gets irritated and that's it.
We also tend to make a little breaks between texting, its mostly like 3 to 4 days and when we get back into it I just feel like he has already lost interest.
Firstly this is strange to me because I've never actually cared for anyone online in this nature since I just find it impossible to have a genuine connection over the internet and secondly I've never met someone with this many layers to their personality.
