In high school I may have told a few I was dating a college guy so that too could have been a reason and at that moment to think about it I was into being friends first and after while being friends was cooler bcuz I knew college had a wide variety and the boys were immature....wow I could be the reason I'm single ?
I totally agree. I haven't been attracted to anyone now in college. Most of the people of my age group are whiny and immatures. I prefer to have older people to date. 🙂
Many of you just could try to smile more instead of having the facial expression of a cop who tries to get
a confession out of a suspect. Everybody is put off by grim looking people

I will not say much because you are young and you will figure everything out on your own eventually 🙂 But remember one thing - that, never feel bogged down by stuff happening in life..okay 🙂 .. Just remember that whatever is happening in your life, bad or good is very much natural..normal.. As long as you learn from everything, whatever happens in life is enriching to the soul :-) its easier said but ..point is...dont ever feel too bad about stuff : D

Lol this is all subjective of course. I once had a Scorpio friend who was waaaaay more approachable and friendly than me. Him Scorpio Sun Capricorn Rising. Me Libra Sun Scorpio Rising. He had lots of friends. He nicknamed me The Rebel because I was always opposing something. I eventually got tired of him though because he was kind of "everybody's friend". There have been Scorpios I didn't talk to but it wasn't because I found them intimidating.. It was because I saw them as lazy and manipulative.

Yes. It really depends on the aspects and dominants of the person. Maybe there is something in your friend's chart that makes him/her that way or maybe people are attracted to his energy. 🙂 I agree that Scorpios are manipulative. A friend of mine tried to manipulate me. I hate that. As much as I love my fellow Scorps, I tend to avoid too much contact with them. I prefer Virgo, Pisces or Aries to be my friend.

I don't think people avoid me but they are not eager to talk to me either haha! But then I am totally fine with that because I am not much of a people person.I had an old friend of best friend of mine walk up to me said I thought you were a total bitch but you are actually not. I do prefer directness like that.
Well people can sense your Scorpio Asc so they are afraid of your intensity. It's good to know that you are an introvert as well. 😄

When I was a child, my mother would stare at me and tell me that she could see the evil inside of me - in my eyes - it was hard to look into her eyes because I could see that she had a mental problem and I somehow understood that at a very early age. She got worse as us kids got older and the abuse just escalated especially toward me as I was the black sheep for what reason I don't know other than the fact that I fought against her trying to manipulate me like my siblings let her. I always sensed that she knew I didn't like the person that she was and she didn't like that I knew. For years I would stare at the ground when I walked and had trouble looking people in the eyes. A woman asked me for direction in the grocery store and when I looked up and at her she gasped and stepped back. WTF, then I answered her and she smiled. I do have a focused look. I'm a Taurus and Capricorn and I am usually thinking about serious stuff.- but I am a freaking barrel of laughs and all my friends love me and we always have a great time. As I got older I changed and now I smile and look people in the eye. They smile back. I started doing that as a personal experiment - I wanted to see if I could somehow mask the anger inside of me cause I did have a lot of anger but guess what - after a while just by doing a good job of it - that actually helped me to somehow overcome a lot of the anger inside me and I don't seem to get that much anymore. Not sure what that is but I believe it is anger which I experienced. At the time things were changing for me I realized I was always ready to defend myself - always defensive and I said to myself - "self" "there is no reason to be on the defensive anymore" - if someone is being mean to me, I can walk and/or just tell them to f u c k o f f ...

nice - thank you - well it sounds shocking I suppose but it was overall sad as you say - it was the norm - that scenario was minor comparatively but another chapter ... what affects children is carried into adulthood - it is just life and the way it is until you get older and then it is how you are able to deal at that point. I am no longer angry and I learn a little more every day - with age sometimes if we are lucky comes some wisdom - I am grateful for how far I've come - now my siblings are envious of me - I was the one made it - I focus on that part of life which is good and walk away from the rest because I don't need any more drama and stress ...

as soon as we moved here, the elderly lady next door asked whether he would be kind enough to take out her trash every week (and he said yes 🙂). i'm sure he didn't appear intimidating to her at all from day 1 for her to ask that lol

This happens to me all--the--time.
I have strong Aqua placements, though, so I go back and forth between being okay with it (because that way I have plenty of space) and sometimes feeling ridiculous/lonely. People always tell me they're intimidated y me or are worried they're bothering me by talking to me.
I'm like... what?!
It's a definite vibe. I've come up with no rationalization for it. Blame it on a resting bitch face, perhaps.
Please let me explain.

Maybe the elderly lady saw something. Maybe a radiating or positive aura. Every person see our energy differently. 🙂 I'm also intimidating, but some people see me as a very positive and nice person. (Jupiter in 12th conj ASC I think) 😄

Yes and since you have a strong Aqua then people sense your aloofness and detachment. They can also sense that in me, so no one approaches me. 🙂

thanks, sorry about your trauma - I understand distrust - that was part of the defensiveness in me - I was ready to fight if anyone overstepped my boundaries and yet I was fearful that that would happen in itself - it's a double edge sword - I hope you can also find a way to learn and grow out of some of that so that you are more whole and enjoy the life you are entitled too - just keep searching for some answers is what I did - read, therapy, talk to others that you do trust, etc. it takes time but things started to really gel once I got older - all of a sudden the clouds parted and the sun started shining more often - I feel more free for the most part ...
