Only the passage of time is going to return your sanity, anyone that's been in love has more than likely experienced the same feeling that's twisting your guts and dominating your thoughts. Writing about it is a helpful outlet, I wrote a shit ton when I was in your position and when you're finally over it you look back at your thoughts on paper and realize that you had become an entirely different person, that you weren't being honest with yourself.

You'll also come to realize as someone already alluded to; you're in love with a person that no longer exists, with a romanticized ideology that neither she nor any other woman could ever hope to be. You might try and concentrate your thoughts (when thinking of her) of the good times that you had together, relish the fact that you had them and look forward to the next girl that you'll get to share the same feelings with once again.

Or you could bury yourself in a alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and self destructive behavior, but then you'll just be swapping one demon for another ๐Ÿ™‚

This is probably the best advice ......except the burying yourself in self-destructive behaviors. :\ Sometimes no matter how painful the event is you just have to feel every agonizing part of it in order to get through it. If you medicate with stuff than you will never get through it. Time is the healer .....you will find yourself each day agonizing over this person as time passes less and less. ((hugs scorpio_wreck))
