Posted by ScorpicoThanks for the input! Scorpio women are so hard to read for me. I'm pretty sure this Scorpio I'm into at the moment isn't that interested in me so I'm about to move on from her but I just feel intuitively that it'd have a lot of potential. All the scorpio's I've met, men and women, both have this hidden energy about them in that they're secretly very outgoing if they're around familiar faces. I don't get a homebody vibe from them at all. I can see how with a Taurus that can happen, but I have a lot of fire/air in my chart so I'm most definitely not a homebody in comparison to other Taurus. It's always interesting to read about how if both signs were more "mature" it would be a better relationship. Couldn't we say that about all signs being more mature? Or just people in general? I take it you haven't been with another Taurus after your ex husband?
I was married to one for 2 years. We were very young, so we were on the immature side of our signs. But the relationship had a lot of potential. He was very laid back, funny, knew when to be reserved, and knew when to be out going. He was smart. He wasn't up for to new experiences, a homebody, kinda boring sometimes. One track minded. Emotionally he was not as deep as I was, which if we were more mature, it would have offered some balance; but since we were so young it caused tension and lack of understanding. The more I tried to get him to be as emotionally open as I am, the more inward he went. There was a lot of push and pull at the end. Also, as a scorpio I tend to be a bit on the controlling side, which he was NOT cool with. He never wanted to make important decisions, but he didn't want me to be in charge of making them either. But overall he could have offered a very stable environment, not passionate, but stable. I would recommend a mature taurus and mature scorpio give it a shot. You both have things to offer the other. Your lives would definitely be comfortable.

Posted by AgentP911We haven't met yet, oddly enough, she DM'd me on Instagram. We've just been chatting non stop and have a lot of similar interests on IG. A couple of days ago I asked for her number and offered mine, and she told me she'd text me later in the day. She never did, but continues to talk to me on IG. So I followed up on it and she said, "she doesn't just give her number out like that." So I was ok with that and moved on with chatting. I've asked her to hang out a couple of times, and the first time she said no due to class, the second time, she said no due to seeing family for the weekend. She doesn't really initiate as much of the convo, nor does she really make an attempt to hang/talk off IG. She seems happy with it being this way. She mentioned her previous relationships weren't very good, that she's in school which is harder than she expected, so I figured she just needs her space. But I'm not really in the right mind set to wait around at this point.
What's the situation with this Scorpio?

Posted by Infinite8I figured she's being very cautious. It's just odd because she was the one that initiated this whole thing to begin with. Lol
She's being cautious. She won't give her number out until a lot of time has passed and she feels very safe with you.
She probably just doesn't trust meeting people online.
If you have no patience for that, then let it go - it wasn't meant to be.

Posted by earlorg16How old are you both?Posted by AgentP911We haven't met yet, oddly enough, she DM'd me on Instagram. We've just been chatting non stop and have a lot of similar interests on IG. Posted by AgentP911I'm in my late 20s and she's in her mid 20s. I'd like to meet her first and kinda feel it out/see how it goes. It's hard to answer that question since we haven't met yet... Lol
How old are you both?
What would you like to see happen?
As I8 said, she's cautious. When I dated, I never offered my number out. I'd only bother with that if I felt it was worth it. To me, they were just guys on the end of the phone/screen. They weren't 'real' as such at that point.
She may have a lot on and not be looking for much right now. Who knows?
Did you ask her out as in for a date or did you ask her to 'hang out' in a casual or friends way? There is a difference there.
She was busy twice. Be more direct. Why not tell her you like her and would like to take her out to dinner and then ask her when she is free?
It might sound more formal but it states your case.

Posted by Infinite8Haha, it's just a lot of hot and cold action which I am not a fan of but I don't blame her nor am I upset at her. I'm cool with keeping this pace, it's more that I have a lot of things going on in my life so I like to prioritize things and move onto the next thing. I don't want to force her into anything, and I don't think I have really.
Lol... I guess it might seem odd to you.
She iniciates when she feels comfortable. She stops when she is not comfortable... But, she doesn't know how to verbalize it BECAUSE she doesn't want to seem vulnerable in an uncomfortable environment. So she avoids, changes the subject and leads it to where she is comfortable.
She made the first moves to get to know you, she might need more time to make the following moves when she feels ready. She doesn't feel ready right now.
Are you in between two girls right now or something? What is causing the impatience on your side? Your impacience might drive her away and you might not be able to enjoy the full of her because of it.
It sounds like she could at least be a wonderful friend?

Posted by TaurusinTexasMost definitely! I just don't like to be left in the dark for too long... That's really all it is. I'm too curious! A fault of mine for sure. But anyway, I blame the fire/air in my chart for me being less patient than the usual bull. I don't think being cautious is a bad trait at all! I like the chase after all. I mostly just hate this online thing. It's silly to me.
I'm like this and sometimes I make men wait just to weed out the riff raff. I mean time is precious, what's taking some time to get to know you and see if we really should meet or even give you my phone number. You would be surprised at the number of men that lose their minds over moving slow and my taurus venus means I'm gonna love you like you've never been loved before, so I'm gonna be very careful who I share that with. ? You're a taurus, what's the rush?
And I know I'm not a Scorpio woman but cautious women aren't a bad thing - just wanted to share my perspective.

Posted by ImpulsvNo, she didn't give me her number. Lol. Sticking to IG private messages only so far.
So she gave u her number n then states she doesn't do that just with anyone. So what do u think?
Continue with it n move the contact from messaged to texting
She likes u as she initiated but might guarded n trying to get to know u

Posted by Infinite8Yeahh, thanks you guys! I didn't mean to make this thread about me. I was just genuinely curious about other Scorpio's experiences with Taurus men. It's a fascinating partnership to me so I wanted to hear first hand experiences. My thing is so minor to me, so didn't really mean to get into it like that. Just wanted to pick the Scorpio women's brain and see how they think for future reference. 🙂Posted by umisaid^^^This is exactly what you should do!
I met two scorpios online, both initiated the convo. We chatted a bit, got a feel from one another. Once they are interested, youll know. If you asked her out and she wasn't into the idea yet, back off from asking again. Wait until, as previous posters said, she hints towards it. IMO. Scorpio women are great, be ready to fall under a love spell.
Just let it flow and let her iniciate. In the meantime, enjoy the chats and the friendship.

Posted by umisaidYeah they are... The past experiences I've had with them, they were very direct about things and I knew what they wanted. This one is just different? It's fine, everyone's different. I feel like I've already fallen under the spell because I really do enjoy talking to her, but I'm resisting at the moment and trying hard not to. But yeah, I've already backed off. What happened to those two scorps for you?

Posted by ImpulsvAw. This is good to hear! I usually do those sorta things with my Scorpio guy friends, except going to book stores. Substitute that with gigs. Haha
Taurus man felt like home too me. The man I always dreamed off. He calmed my nervous energy. He always expressed concern I thought of him as boring
Another man maybe but I literally could just do chores with him n I enjoyed his company ! Literally 8 hours dates. N not home sexting. Hike l, lunch, talking going to movies then bookstore.

Posted by Infinite8Haha! When I wasn't as into Astrology, I had my doubt about being a Taurus. Here and there, things made sense but not always. When I learned about a birth chart from a friend, and he showed me everything, it made TOTAL sense.Posted by earlorg16LMAO!! You say things I say all the time! I'm also super curious. What does the rest of your chart look like? Merc, Venus & Mars?Posted by TaurusinTexasMost definitely! I just don't like to be left in the dark for too long... That's really all it is. I also have a lot of fire and air in my chart. Very curious and I've improved in the impatience (not just an air/fire thing, but also a Scorp thing)... A bit ?

Posted by TaurusinTexasScorpios are awesome generally. My cousin is one and her and I get along great. To go with that, almost all of my best friends are Scorpio guys.
I will say, I agree Scorps feel like home to me - I mean instant comfort with them, zero nerves. ?

Posted by earlorg16I'm sure if mature people, in general, wanted to make a relationship work, they could. But when it comes down to shared values, interests etc I personally believe that some are just more compatible with others. You are correct, I haven't tried to be with a Taurus since my ex. I'm with a leo now, I don't see any signs of it slowing down. BUT I'm not opposed to the combination of Scorpio and Taurus.Posted by ScorpicoThanks for the input! Posted by Infinite8Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of my Aries in Venus tbh.. I get bored so quickly and gotta move onto the next thing so fast, but I love it at the same time. Bah. I have Taurus in my 11th house. If that means anything, I wouldn't really know, but yeah, a lot of fire and air in my chart.
Lol... Of course you have an Aries Venus! That was made crystal clear the moment you said you loved the chase.
And Mercury conjuct Mars in GEMINI ? You can chat up a storm! And of course, Gemini energy makes you extremely curious.
So, Sun is your only Taurus placement? I understand why you would feel distant from your sun. Both Gemini and Aries energies overwhelm the Taurus calm.
I have: ♏️Scorpio Merc / ♎️Libra Venus and ♌️Leo Mars

Posted by Infinite8Hahah, I have a strong need to make some sort of mark in the music community sure! Lol, but doesn't everyone want to leave their mark in some way? I don't know how the house system works tbh... :\Posted by earlorg16You getting bored so quickly might also be your Gemini Mars perpetuating the whole thing. Ah I see, thats probably why we feel so similarly about things! Libra Venus, Leo Mars ehh?
Sun in the 11th is Aqua house! Do you feel a strong need to make your mark in to some type of community? Communicate in some way with te masses?
My sun is in the 1st house ?

Posted by AgentP911I haven't given up on her, just more that I shouldn't devote so much thought into her as I've done. I've put the brakes on this a little bit and would rather focus my energy on other things like my music in the mean time. I'll keep talking to her but if it dies down a bit, I won't be down about it but we'll see how it evolves. Obviously, I hope I could meet her at least once Lol.
Don't dislike your Aries Venus. It doesn't necessarily make you bored but it would make you want to move things on quickly. My fella has Taurus Sun with Aries Venus. He always wanted to keep it moving with me but I put the brakes on a little to slow it down purely for my benefit. Be there, be persistent, don't give up on her. It's easy to move on to the next available girl because it's easier but ultimately it can be less satisfying.
