What is the differences between a Scorpio man and a Taurus man?

I'm a Scorpio myself and have dated two Scorpios long term, now dating a Taurus. Scorpios just don't seem as serious or reliable as a Taurus, they're pretty emotional but that's it, words, they're pretty slick with words but I don't think there is the seriousness and dependability and stability that a Taurus has.

I'm also a Scorpio and we can sometimes crumble under pressure, Taurus is grounded so they will hold on in the midst of any storm.

Scorpio romance or life in general is very full of drastic highs and lows, taurus keeps the momentum and is more steady.

Both are fixed signs so both can be stubborn and both can be possessive.

Everything you wrote about Taurus men describes the two that I was involved with, as well. There was nothing flighty about them, from the very beginning, even the one with a Gemini Venus.

They seem very similar to me as-well. I've been pursued by both, and their style s were darn near identical, in the pursuit at-least. Never officially dated. Both very observant, both calculating, both believe in payback. They both move fast initially, then withdraw..I guess because its now your turn to make a move...just extremely calculating and sensitive guys. You gotta watch how you handle them from beginning to end, or you will be getting a taste of your own medicine, and when you least expect it. Both love power and control.

From my experience,

My Scorpio ex of three years was very reliable, consistent, and hardworking.

Much similar to the traits of a Taurus man.

However, when their emotional world crumbles (ie, finances), you can forget about it, RUUUN! They're one of the worst people to be around. Severe nervous breakdown. This was the major demise that led to our breakup. I felt like I was the only rock holding the relationship together.

The differences between Scorpio and Taurus men, I think is the difference in the way they deal with external problems, how they're viewed by other people, and how they utilize their finances.

My Scorpio ex liked the idea of having people envious over him. He thrived on that attention. He would spend money wrecklessly, just competing with other people. When his financial world crumbled, his responses would be allocated to the feedback and perception he would get from other people. Emotionally, he was also a wreck, constantly needed an emotional babysitter.

Tauruses, on the other hand, the spending habits are more internal. We don't seek external validation. "Possessions and Acquisition" being the operative words. We identify with beauty, and therefore we want to possess it and own it. There is an inner personal satisfaction we get from this. When a Bull's financial world is crumbled, it's internalized, we isolate, but that inner strength comes from within, we do not rely or lean on other people for that external support. We face the problems head on.

Despite the negative reputation, associated with Scorpios, they are overall good people. They're reliable, trustworthy, loyal, and definitely ride or die.

Very few people give them credit for this.

But most importantly, they're not afraid to wear their heart on their sleeves, I admire that.

No disrespect to Taurus men, but emotional expression can take them a long way and clear up a lot of confusion women are having about Taurus men on these boards.

Taurus men, take an emotional risk every once in a while, something to be learned from your polar opposite.

My husband is a Taurus and I have a couple of Scorpio men friends.

On the surface they are very similar indeed, both are stubborn, they seem to be looking for the samething however they approach everything differently:

Scorpio men flirt while Taurus men hint... but both of them take their time in a relationship

When you're going through a tough situation, Scorpio men will try to understand you while taurus men will try to help you...but both are very good listeners.

Taurus men have a lot of difficulties expressing their feelings...they are so clumsy at it unlike their Scorpio opposite who are a lot more attune with their feelings and can be more manipulative.

And this is probably the biggest difference that I've noticed... Taurus men really loves you for who you are... while a scorpio men sometime love you for who you should be...or rather who they picture you to be 🙂

Overall I like how practical and how grounded a taurus man is...they express their love in a very peculiar way...but once you understant their language you will never be able to settle for anything less! They are the real definition of the expression "Now and Forever" 🙂

I've dated two Scorpio men and being a Scorpio myself I can say I prefer Taurus men. Scorpios are so good with words, like as smooth as cream cheese on a warm bagel, but when push comes to shove many of them will crumble, and they've such a weak cowardly side to them like Pisces men.

Taurus is the opposite at this, they're not really all that good with words, I feel like I have to drag it out of my Taurus man, but the actions are there, and to me that is much better cause I like my love not just on paper. They're just much more manly. I admire strength.

My taurus however, takes time , handles it then comes back whole to the relationship. He would say let's both not run off over tiny issues, we should get over it together.

Taurus is very calm posessive materialistic doesn't like change at all they are slow and don't know how to hold a conversation they are sensual but also very unmannered like farting etc
