Trying to contain myself but this series definitely has a warm place in my heart.

I can't think of any other property doing this to me other than Ghostbusters when

I saw it as a child.. There was something about those two films

that took me and now this series seems to have that same

effect. That nice blend of comedy and great writing and

yet this respect for the paranormal or 'things out there'

things that most people don't want to talk about.

The show really touches on a time when

Pluto was in Scorpio and all things paranormal

seemed to really be on the forefront. Creative works such as

Michael Jackson Thriller or BeatleJuice, and of course, Ghostbusters...

Horror Movies were as famous as they were going to ever be in this time also...

Coming into this world when this was the energy at the time. I just feel at home

watching something such as this because It brings me right back to a time when

things paranormal were not shunned but taken a bit serious and given the chance

to get people to question and unite on things that make us second guess

because we've all experienced something we can't quite put our finger on.

Literally or not..

Season 3 will be out in 2019.

http://mashable.com/2017/12/10/no-stranger-things-season-3-in-2018/

All good things must come to those who wait I suppose. sigh*

They need time I suppose to flesh out the story.

I just hope it doesn't keep going and going.

Endings are beautiful too. LIke maybe if

it ends at season 3 or season 4.

America doesn't know how to

end their stories unless lack of money

forces one. I can NOT WAIT though lol.

Steve and Dustin’s bromance was the highlight of season 2. If you’d told me in the beginning of the series that Steve was gonna become one of my favorite characters, I’d have said you were crazy.
I knoooow (:

When Dustin first caught up with Steve I wasn't sure if the pairing would work

but it does.I just didn't really care too much about Steve in Season 1 but Season2

was so different and I'm glad he came along for the ride again.

The fight with Billy and then the incident of him and the kids underground

I was nervous the whole time. My favorite moment with him though is

when he's waking up freaking out that Max is driving the car haha.

Dustin: "It's okay, Buddy. You got your ass kicked but you did good"

Mike: "I told you he would freak out!" lol lol

I love it. The plot is interesting and all of the kids are all so adorable and funny. I love the 80s theme and 80s soundtrack especially the transition music.

I like that the children are the biggest stars and main focus of the show which is not something that I see very often in the media particularly on Netflix which mostly features adult shows and I think it should be more prevalent. Kids should be able to watch shows where they can relate to the main characters more often who are in their age group and ones that they can enjoy with their families so I also like that it's a family show. I like all of the characters so I don't have any favorites at the moment.

I agree.

I feel back then 90s/80s etc kids were treated more serious as an audience.

They were seen as capable and intelligent viewers. I feel that is why there

were more main characters garnered towards children. Now it's like,

they feel kids need things to be slowed down(?) or watered down to

understand? It's hard for me to fully explain though of course,

this is all just speculation from me with no kind of research...

but I do understand what you mean about more underage

main characters. The kids have a more honest portrayal too

with one of the aspects being that they curse a bit and I do

recall that being one of the main reasons why no other network

picked it up because it was more mature with underage leads..

They were afraid kids wouldn't be able to watch a show that was for them(?)
