name some cheap, very very affordable hobbies that you like,

or would like.

no. 1 on this list would be ASTROLOGY.

well you do need a computer, for sources online, but that can be remedied if you have a free library pass, (in Europe it's NOT free though, you have to pay but it's still CHEAPER than buying a computer)

but you can still get a 2nd hand computer, but there is still the cost of internet server.

so the library is still cheaper. And you can also go to used book stores to find some old used astrology books.

or E- BOOKS......you can download them online from the library.

also,

2) Gardening.. this is a cheap hobby. Just don't go crazy.

3) sewing. Buy some good materials from a big warehouse clothing store. learn to sew first.

maybe look at some clips online.

4) Make-up artist. This is also a good hobby and cheap. The only problem is, there are expensive make-ups so you have to go and get some affordable products that aren't really cheap but somewhat ok quality to start out.

5) Fishing (Although this is more a man's sport. I don't see a whole lot of women going fishing)

Collecting shells or pebbles :p
This is what I was going to recommend. I go rock hounding every weekend on the beach. It's my favorite hobby and so relaxing. Find lots of good beach glass, but what I really am looking for are geodes, minerals & crystals.. and I find more than you'd think!

lucky you living near the beach - it's so calming - but I also love the mountains where I live right now ...

Nova Scotia baby, we are surrounded by the Atlantic.

I love mountains as well, but I don't think I could ever be apart from the ocean. It's what makes me feel at home 🙂

sounds wonderful - that area always looks so serene - I moved from Pa to Va where the warm season is longer and love it - I just don't understand some of the southern country people here - lol

I've been running a lot. I'm really not even good at it but I keep pushing myself and when I see results its super gratifying. It makes me proud that my body actually did that. It's free, too. I started off with a twelve minute mile and I've gotten it down to 9-10 minutes in less than a month. I'm not an expert but It's just rewarding. I was told that exercising improved your moods and I was like hellll no. It really does though.

I like to create things, DIY projects. I also like to go to flea markets, buy a piece that I can restore or fabricate somehow. I do that probably every few months.

I've also been into cooking ethnic foods lately Thai, Mexican, Swedish meatballs, whatever recipe I feel like trying out. I usually look for a recipe during the week, and I'll cook it over the weekend.

I've also been hiking with friends at several different locations lately, places that can be more than an hour away sometimes, but it's a good reason to go and check out areas you normally wouldn't venture to. We switch off on driving. Also if I see a restaurant thats featured on "diners, drive ins and dives" and it's in an area I'm going to, we'll eat there. I've done that several times.

I'd really like to get into hardcore gardening, but my yards grassy area isn't big enough for what I'd really like to do, so I just have some herbs, and some veggies growing in huge barrels.

I decided to come up with hobbies that would actually make me money at one point. I thought it maybe fun... as well as I do a number of cheap hobbies now.

1)astrology

2)look at the stars... different then astrology but in all honest it really helps to picture where everything is... App's help and I bought a telescope for like 25 dollars at a flea market. It would normally have been about 300. I thought I was doing good.

3)yoga

4)origami

5) Fishing... depending on what type it can be expensive though... lol

List of hobbies that make money

1) create things to sail... grow crystals, make jewelry, and make clothing. I have only grown crystals but would also not mind breading Jacksons or other animals.

2)I coin collect... and invest in metals when they are cheap.

3)Trade stocks during market cycles... not going to lie astrology can be very helpful but you have to be an astro buff to really understand the cycle. May include pulling political, country, or companies astrology charts. I spend hours now these days doing this when I have down time with my work at time.

3) Picking natural fruit that grows or gardening... I want to get more into this but want my own yard really do this. I have ability to do where I am at but the market is going to change and I think I will be moving in the next few years or lease.

4)metal detecting on the beaches. I have actually found some gold and many silver coins. I actually paid for my metal detector a few times over. As long as you can get over people seeing you do it.. actually many people ask how it is going and so on...

My Venus is in Pisces second house I seem to love shiny things...

I learned how to sew as a teenager. My mom bought me a sewing machine for Christmas one year, it was like $ 800. Didn't know they could be that expensive. I made outfits (went to the garment district a lot with her to get materials) bcuz I really liked fashion, even made outfits for my pets. I don't do much anymore unless I'm fixing something.

I want to get into making candles, organic soaps and facial products. It's on the to do list.
