Posted by leowwwi'm pretty sentimental too, I keep a lot of the jewelry that both my grandmother's gave me, hidden and stashed.Posted by lisabethur8This definitely.
are you sentimental and keep them and give them to your daughters, or nieces ect, when you get old and pass on?
I have kept love letters that go all the way back to high school.
I have a hard time parting with stuff... Terrible.

Posted by leowwwPosted by lisabethur8Oh it's not about that, for me, it's the memories ☺️... I mean some of the letters were exchanged as a teenager lolPosted by leowwwPosted by lisabethur8This definitely.

as for love letters, nawww. only my husband's poetry books. Other letters given to me by my ex's I throw away long ago. I'm just not invested in them or care anymore, they are past to me, and I already have memories so that's more than enough.
I'm also an aunt and I've kept/keep alllllll my nephews /nieces drawings and gifts... Play doh creations included. Lol.

We just have got the same thing. I still kept those cards given to me on my 17th birthday. Wooahooo!
It's normally the small little things that makes me happy. So yeah, I'm with you. I'll keep them and will hand them over to my daughter. 🙂

Posted by leowwwaries sun/Taurus moon.Posted by lisabethur8😆 .... What's her sign?
one time, my sister had a photo of a family portrait of all the relatives during Christmas party, and there were maybe 3 dozen of us there, not including children. My ex's face was painted out. lmao!!! haha. that was awesome.
edit - well she didn't like him either because he was not good to me, so that's why too. she hates anyone who puts me down, or hurts me. loyalty between sisters. i'm the same way with her, so I hate any guy who is not good to her.click to expand

Hi Lisa 🙂
I have inherited jewels and I would never rid myself of them. It's not even jewels, anything that someone has given me, I tend to keep.
Posted by Infinite8yes!!! me too. I wear them on special occasions, and I wore them when we went to weddings this past spring, and also to the U.S. when we went, and to the south of Europe. Just small ones, like rings and bracelets and necklaces. My mother gave me some really "gaudy" jewelry that isn't really appropriate for me to wear anywhere. lolPosted by leowwwLol... I also saved letters from junior high and high school!Posted by lisabethur8This definitely.

@lisabethur8 - I would definitely keep it protected in a safe and WEAR IT. To me, it feels like I still have them with me... It's very meaningful to me.

Posted by SensitiveBluesaw that so sucks! it's not your fault though.
someone stole my moms gold jewelry from me, she hates me for life
Posted by UnusualVaginalDischargeha ha. my mother gave me one of these GAUDY types, a beautiful large jewelry case with a HUGE necklace and earrings and bracelet. the stones look like I could throw them in the sea and watch the ripples in the water.
Depends, if i like the style then I'm keeping the jewelry. If I'll never wear them then I sell.

would you keep them in a safe? Or would you ever sell them when you fall into hard times??
I mean, jewelry that is worth thousands and thousands of course.
