How do you know when a Virgo man is serious about you?

I'm a Gemini Sun, Scorpio Moon, Venus in Gemini and he is Virgo Sun, Virgo Moon with a Venus in Libra.

We are both in our mid 20's, so we are not teenagers.

He is very open with his feelings towards me. Me on the other hand, I am not. He has told me how much he really cares about me and just last week while walking in the park holding hands, he told me that he loved me. I froze up. I didnt know what to say.

I've known him for at least 3 years now. We just recently went out a week ago. We live about 2 hours apart and I am still in school. Plus he works 7 days a week.

It was only our 3rd date, even though I believe he has always liked me. He smiled when I didnt say I love you back, but he said it again while we were kissing. We ran into one of his old friends and they asked was I his girlfriend and he said yea. I was shocked he said that, because I wasnt aware that we were together yet. Even though he treats me like I am his girlfriend and he is extremely affectionate in public.He also told me how he hates how we cannot see each other as often right now and how much he misses me so much.

aww sweet. go with the flow. i didnt date my Virgo til years along a friendship either. but if they won't go away, that's a good sign they mean it lol. if he treats you like his girlfriend, calls you his gf to friends, well my dear, then you are his gf until you specify otherwise! you know each other by now after all this time so whats the harm in finding out what could come of something more? he seems down so you have to ask yourself, am i down for this too?

This is similar to my situation. I'm a Taurus Sun, Aries Moon, Gemini Venus. Same placements for my Virgo guy as yours. Except we've only known each other for 10 months and he doesn't work weekends (thankfully). Talked almost every day.

We met for the first time maybe about 3/4 weeks ago. Two dates in he slips the "I love you" but he said it in a roundabout way. I asked him when would be an appropriate time to say I love you (because I like to ask questions, am straightforward, and was curious lol) and he said, "I could say it now", but at the time I didnt catch on.

Two dates later he says he loves me in the car when he was leaving and clarified that that was what he meant by the above ^. I also didn't say it back lol But I explained why to him (I explain everything). He wants to tell our parents about us and invited me to dinner. Im socially awkward so I'm scared lol

I think your guy means what he says. I think if it made you uncomfortable you should tell him and and say why and be very clear and I'm sure he will understand, if that is the case. Best of Luck 🙂

No, I wasnt against him saying it at all. It just took me by surprise a little.On our first real date he told me how much he cared about me and how he wanted us to build a life together.He told me that while having dinner in a crowded place, so we were not alone or anything. Even though it was our first date, we have had feelings for each other for a very long time(3-4 years).

He mention it once when we were walking together holding hands, then he mentioned it again when I was at his place that same day. We were watching movies and he kept staring at me the whole time. I turned to look at him and he said I love you. This was right before we started kissing though, so that is why I was like was it a heat of the moment type of thing, or was he actually being serious. We didnt sleep together or anything on the last date, but we came very close.

Lol..I'm trying not to let my Scorpio Moon rule over this.It has helped me in the past though,but I think my Venus in Gemini plays apart as well in ruining things.

Aww, that is so sweet.Yea, I was surprised at how affectionate and how open he is with his feelings. I had always heard how Virgos can be so cold and distant. Which was that way when we first met a couple of years back, but he is like a totally different person now that we are dating.

Lmfao he really must have freaked you out with his words and actions. Saying "I love you" by the 3rd date and then telling people you're his girlfriend. Lol he sounds like a sweetheart but we Gems aren't about that life so early on!

Lol..Yea It took me by surprise. I literally just stared at him like are those words coming out of his mouth. Then, he just kept saying it over and over. I know I like him and care about him, but I want to make sure that he is serious about those three words before I say them back to him.

That's a very excellent indicator coming from him saying I love you. It's also why a virgo just vanishes out of thin air when women fail to comprehend, to never ever return to them.

Were you against him saying that and what context did he say it in? If he's telling you he loves you he means it. A lot of people think we bullshitting when we say what we say but if we don't mean it we won't say it, unless we're angry or whatever, he also could be joking about telling his friends you were his girlfriend but he's saying "look yeah, she is my girlfriend" making you feel comfortable and showing you he's got your back, that's what I think anyway, but there could be a different context in which way he said it, idk but that's what I think.

Look for his actions, and this goes for everyone else, people can tell you they love you as many times as they want, if they don't prove it it means F all. When the chips are down, that's when you'll find out who's reallly there for you.

I'm not a guy, but I'm with you on this. I don't say it unless I mean it. Now, it's different when it's my girlfriends, but with a guy... It's serious if I say it.

LOL I've been talking to a Virgo, I'm a Gem, Scorpio Moon with Venus in Cancer. I'm the one that clams up, I am trying to get myself to open up.
