my dad got a drone online. it was $ 500 off at Best Buy, and he gets in these moods where he has to buy the best of everything that he's interested in. he's always interested and very serious about electronics. the stereotypical Aqua. maybe it's his Sun/Merc/Venus/Jupiter/Saturn in Aqua combo, maybe it's not.

regardless I work at Best Buy so I picked up the drone for him. when someone picks up an item at Best Buy the customer gets an email saying thanks for picking up....or whatever. basically a confirmation email saying someone picked the item up. so my dad being the reasonable and totally not impulsive at all man that he is starts telling my mom he's going to call the cops and go in to Best Buy and demand that they pull up security cameras because someone stole his drone LOL. my mom started calling me saying "your father thinks someone stole his drone and he keeps rambling about an email saying he needs to call the cops and have them pull security cameras because someone is impersonating him".

dying. I texted him and said "I have your drone drama queen. I took it home with me from work" and he goes "where is it? someone picked it up" and I'm like "I know. I picked it up. it's in my car with me right now" so he goes "ok. be very careful with it. its delicate"

I decided to go get dinner with a friend, and I got about 2-3 texts from my dad saying "where is my drone!!!" "I want to see it hurry up and eat!"

haha. I think the antics of an Aquarius over electronics is cute lmfao.

the Aqua who is on and off with me is the same way. he's on a rampage about the launch of the Galaxy s7 edge. I'm letting him use one of my upgrades to get it, and he's practically hyperventilating over it. sending me details about it and how he "needs" the bigger screen. I go "lol at 'need the bigger screen'" and he goes "I do for real for real. this isn't a joking matter" 😆
then he said it sucks the glass screen protector doesn't exist for the s7 edge. 5 minutes later he sends me a screenshot of the new zagg edge glass screen protector and has another moment of hyperventilation.

not sure if all Aquas are like this but the ones I know are. I think it's adorable. lmfao. it cracks me up. so cute.
my dad lmfao: "I'm calling the police. someone stole my drone from Best Buy and impersonated me" 😆
no one stole your drone dad. it was only me

I've got no Aquarius in my chart, but I also follow technology sometimes. I'm a big fan of Apple products, even though the only Apple product I have is an iPhone. Used to be an Android fanboy, and I was interested in getting a Nexus 6 a while ago, but ended up getting a Sony Xperia instead (which I sold to get the iPhone). I'm a fan of laptops as well - I keep my home PC for editing photo's, as mentioned in the above post, and have an Acer laptop for travel purposes and for doing small photo edits in Picasa. I have the car I have (a Renault Duster 1.5 dCi), because it's what I could afford, and because it came with Media Nav, which features radio, media, phone support and navigation - it also supports Bluetooth, USB, and iPod's.

Sometimes I feel that technology can get a bit too much, but I like how it's made peoples lives a whole lot easier in certain respects.
yes it is faster, it does make life easier.

but we still have mailmen going door to door, that wont change. through rain and shine, sleet and snow.

also, with technology, today my mother in law went out for brunch and she and her sister in law the libra sun married to the Pisces sun (her brother) are going to the U.S.
and she was telling me that in NEWARK, airport, they have no food court with REAL people giving your change or taking your order.

it's all push button and computerized.

She didnt like it. I dont even like the sound of that. There's a sense of not being PERSONAL anymore. which is terrible when you're so used to interacting with people at the cash register, or food court, the waitress, waiter ,, bus-boy.

the taking over of computers is not good in many ways. it's like a HOSTILE TAKEOVER.

The only thing that freaks me out about technology is if it goes as far as advanced A.I, where the clever people will make robots that can think for themselves.

it will make people LONELIER than they've ever been before.

we can never be satisfied, our species (humanity)

because it's either complaining about overcrowding, too many people,

or space out and give more room. (the U.S. is hugely SPACED OUT with lots of SPACE) an everythng is bigger.

but yet people are lonely everywhere. It's the same in Japan, where it's populated, and smaller, yet people are lonely due to their focus on getting ahead and use of technology.

human beings are never satisfied. Always wanting MORE MORE MORE.

haha I had to share this story. I'm glad some of you can relate or were just amused by it! I love the energy behind the passion of learning about technology or getting new technology that Aquas sometimes (most of the time in my personal experience) have. it's the best. I learn a lot from the Aquas in my life. especially my dad with his super Aqua status due to his stellium.

I like technology too but I kind of go with the flow. I'm interested and intrigued by it and love learning about it, but I'm not FIRST to know. I feel like Aquarians are very good at naturally being able to take that information in and be completely educated about it the day it's released. I'm kind of like "la la la la what does this button do- oh cool!" I'm the definition of curiosity killed the cat. lmao. I experiment before knowing the consequences. thankfully i have quite a few Aquas at my job. they keep me on task with updates in phones. my coworker totally just gave me the lowdown of the Galaxy s7 and I was like "bless your soul I have no clue what's happening rn with these preorders or what to explain". he knew the s7 edge had 600 mA more battery than the note 5. to be honest I don't even know if that abbreviation is right but let me pretend I know what I'm talking about to feel cool. (lol). so I totally use that line on every customer now.

bless my technologically inclined and educated Aquas. without you I would be clueless.
