I also learnt through experimentation that low voltage is still killer if the amperage is high enough, i had CCFL lighting and touched the metal connectors with it on and it burnt into my skin lol.
I found some useful channels on YouTube of people who experiment but know their shit, and learnt far more that way.

My mind works this way, i don't need to deeply understand something to see what it is, my mind will attempt to add things together and create something else, if there is a shortcut i will attempt it, if someone says this can't do that, i'm going to try my way with a new method until i deem suitable this does not work.

My sexuality was one - I didn't just fall into a plate of noodles one day and decide my sexuality. It took decades of experiencing myself and others around me.
Cultural influences - I think my Gem rising plays a role in this as well. I like experiencing people from different cultures and backgrounds (which is why I love to travel). And then stepping back and looking at the big picture, trying to find out how all the pieces fit together (like a jigsaw puzzle).
Deconstruction, then reconstruction, to better understand how something works. When I was 7 I got my first walkman for my birthday. Within 2 weeks I was fiddling with the screws and taking it apart just to see how it worked. Of course when I put it back together it no longer worked. I did this with subsequent walkmans over the years lmao. I think it really pissed my parents off.
I'm an ISTP, hands-on sort - when planning and carrying out a project I think from step 1 to step 8, consider options, negatives and positives, weigh the odds and just do it. If a piece is missing, I can't move forward, and I have to figure out how to adapt the entire project, excluding the missing piece. Sometimes this can be annoying for others I'm involved with lol.
