I want to know if anyone thinks that Aries women come off aggressive and domineering.
Men's point of view would be nice.
Would you call Aries women selfish too?

Absolutely.

I wouldn't call them "selfish", though--

I think that they're ultimately good, and want to do the right thing--

It's just hard for them, sometimes, because they're so focused on the Prize -- whatever that may be.

But oh, they can be abrasive and inconsiderate in the process. 😐

At least, that's been my experience.

They just don't put up with any light weight BS. You just have to be honest and open. Well, that and be prepared to be flame broiled now and again....

lol Aries women are far and away the kinkiest freaks out there. They want to feel goose bumps on their skin more than anything else. Very different from capricorns.

I have a great respect for the Aries women I've known, aggressive & domineering? Meh, I just figure they know what they want and are not afraid to go after it. No BS, you know where you stand with them.

They only come off as bullies to those who are doormats and won't bother standing up for themselves.

Just because you don't have the balls to call us out doesn't always make us the bully.

We're strong willed and are forward, but usually it's not done with ill intent. I've noticed that the ones who have an issue with any of this are people who don't speak up about what's bothering them, or just roll on over because they're weenies. If someone speaks up, it's likely an Aries will feel bad as they meant no harm, and will do what they can to correct things (also, much respect is earned).

Not speaking for the douche bag variety though. They're like some long lost, freak cousin nobody wants to claim kinship to.

I second rockyroadicecream, Aries female are too direct to not speak up when there is an issue, not speaking for all but when we are fired up it can at times come out in the wrong way. Nevertheless if more people had a backbone then it wouldn't come across as bullying.

People seem to be intimidated by people, who know exactly what they want, tell you straight up what they want, and do not settle for less! We are leaders, we are aggressive, come off strong, and very passionate people.
We are also extreme, when we love (we give you everything) when we hate (we hate you to the core)
But we understand behavior different than most, and tend to give people a lot of chances.

True about Aries in general. And to the person that said "until you put them in their place" you gave me a GOOOOD laugh. There is no putting an Aries in their place lol. Tell us how that works out for you.

One of my best friends is Aries. She is indeed domineering, intense, wants to be the center of attention, important, she is very proud of being the bully towards certain persons, she is loud and uses her feminine attributes a lot. She looks on a man from way up above. She works really hard to be the strong and cold, but the truth is she is one of the most emotional persons I know. She wants to do the right thing and a small thing can bring her to tears. She has a good hearth and that is why I love her.

When she comes to me with that cold, bully attitude I have my way with her. I simply give her "the look" (don't you play that tough thing with me), ignore her or just tease her. She has her way of intimidating a person(especially with that eye staring game). But I've learned how to handle her. Just won't give her that pleasure that it goes her way. I am very open with her, telling her things that she might not like, being straightforward, usually she gets offended but eventually thanks me for being open with her.

My Aries friend is always seen as arrogant by people. She just keeps to her self, minds her own business and doesn't get involved in petty conversations or gossip.

Some Aries chicks from uni seemed the bully type, but in all honesty, I think it's the competitiveness and their focus on the mission at hand that gets translated to bully behavior. They didn't go out of their way to mess with people but always voices strong opinions and this annoyed some people.

Two separate experiences I've had with Aries females:

1) I was close friends with an Aries female for about six years. She was EXTREMELY dominant and very much "in charge." Not only of our friendship but of pretty much all her family, social, and professional relationships. I'm an easygoing Libra, and was content to follow her lead 95% of the time. Unfortunately, that 05% of the time when I asserted myself did the friendship in. She cut off all contact very abruptly after an argument. I couldn't understand why anyone would throw away a long friendship over a minor disagreement, so I did my best to stay in touch from a distance, keep the door open so to speak, hoping we might patch things up. She was polite/tolerant, but not friendly, whenever I reached out to her. Finally, I moved on. She never tried to bully me, but then again I never allowed her (or anyone else) to bully me.

2) I just spent approximately 3-4 months sharing office space with an Aries female. During that brief time, she got on my last nerve with her incompetence and selfishness. She was as high-maintenance and difficult as an employee could be. I hate to see anybody lose employment, but it was a relief when she was let go.

I do not accept Kate Gosselin as an Aries. Give her back!

But seriously, Aries don't own the bullying trait. Everyone has it, so I think the premise of this thread is flawed to skew the results.

Being a woman who speaks her mind clearly & confidently - who won't back down can be seen as threatening to men. Being authoritative can make people say you're a witch but when a man does it in the same situation and words its called leadership.
