Most compatible sun signs for Aries..
I do not understand Libras. Every interaction I've had with a Libra was pleasant, making me want more. However, as much as they hide it, I've learned that they live behind an affront, so even when everything seems dandy, I realize they truly don't want to hang out with me. But then, I have another Libra friend, who always is asking to hang out, and part of me really likes him, but I can't really stand anything he does, so while I can't say no to hanging out if we run into each other, I'll always find an excuse to stay away if he calls or texts. It's really a blind dance of trying to find a Libra friend who compliments my style.
Capricorns, along with Pisces and Cancer, are the hardest for me to hang out with. They don't like anything I do, and the only way for them to tolerate me is if I sit still and wait for them to leave. Capricorns are the antithesis of my personality. However, I tolerate them easily. I have a Capricorn moon, and it's easy for me to fall into a mode of quiet, subdued mentality. I don't mind them at all, but if I even allow myself to be completely and entirely myself, Capricorn gets pissed.
Taurus are easy for me to deal with, but only if we have the same opinions/tastes/values in life. I've butt heads with a Taurus in the past, but I caught myself and my pride and set any arguments or disagreements aside, and that specific Taurus began acting favorably toward me. I'm sure if it weren't for my Libra rising and Capricorn moon, a Taurus friendship would be impossible, but I really appreciate Taurus simply because they don't impose themselves upon me the way Capricorns and Cancers do.

I pretty much get along with everyone but at different levels. 2 of my best friends are Taurus. I have another best friend that is a Capricorn. We have just as much in common as we are polar opposites. i like to exchange ideas with Aquarius men. Aries men are very outgoing & like to joke around but they're too much for me in a romantic sense. I noticed I get along friendship & romantically with Gemini. Their mood swings can be difficult to deal with though... Cancers seem to be better off as friends with me. Too emotional in my eyes... Leo's are always a good match but we like to argue a lot too. Very fiery .. Since I'm a watery Aries, I get along with Pisces very well & understand them .. Virgo ppl are cool .. Scorpios can be controlling but we get along & I secretly like it in a way.. I don't know many Sags but the ones I do are cool

Mission - I am glad you wrote this post. I was pondering over this question recently. More interesting for me because we both have similar cardinal placements.
Well, in case of friendship for me - Top tier - Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Aries (women only) and Capricorn both men and women
2nd tier - Taurus, though I find them too controlling. I know they mean well in their hearts, but they don't realise my nee for freedom.g
3rd tier - one of my best friends is a Virgo woman, but she is the only Virgo in my network. They usually don't come in my network.
Scorpio - usually they seek me out and befriend but somehow it has always ended in a bitter fashion, with I getting their sting. It seems they get offended by something I do or say without meaning to hurt them and they sting before leaving. I have begun to avoid them, though I hold no grudges against them. I know they have many fine qualities.
Pisces - Again, it begins on a nice note but ends with they suddenly changing their stand (mutable sign).
Cancer and Libra - usually don't come in my network.
Aquarius - I have known very few of them and was never excited by them. There is no chemistry between us.
Romantically - I have ended up having bad experiences with Aries (too volatile, arrogant and bossy), Sagittarius (changed suddenly (mutable sign) ), Scorpio (stung me suddenly without warning), Gemini (changed suddenly (mutable sign) ), Leo (too volatile and controlling; also not willing to consider any idea that strayed from theirs (fixed sign) ).
I stopped trying after all these experiences and am happy being by myself now.
I feel no one is a good match for me and I am not a good match for anyone. Perhaps Capricorn comes closest to it, though I have never tried. There was one Capricorn man several years ago who showed interest and pursued me, but I didn't feel attracted, so didn't reciprocate.
Of late I am also beginning o feel that the compatibility works not only by Sun/Moon signs but also by the Cardinal/fixed/mutable dynamics.
I wonder if Cardinal-Cardinal is the best match. I have never felt attracted to any Cancer or Libra though and Aries heightens my own negative characteristics.

I'm mistaken often as a Libra, but that's my Libra ascendant in play, especially as a strong center of a T-Square between my Capricorn moon and Cancer Mars, heavily balancing against my Aries sun sign.

from my personal experience as a 1st houser, in the past I've always attracted aries dominant men. I mean that's NO coincidence. with leo dominant as well. (watery too)
and they LOVE warrior women.

Obviously, this relies completely upon sun sign analysis. Obviously some of the scores could be skewed when not taking other placements into consideration, and an individual's experience may largely differ from this chart based on their placements. Personally, I get along better with Taurus than I do with anyone in the fifth tier. I was also surprised by the level of compatibility with Virgo, but now that I think of it, my mother is a Virgo and I understand her much easier than I understand my Cancer father, and an old Aries friend of mine married a Virgo as well.
My best friend of 14 years is a Leo, and the best relationship in my life is with a Leo. We are going on 3 years. By contrast, my worst relationship was very devastating and occurred with a Capricorn. Sagittarius make me laugh and put up with easily with everything I do. Gemini are never romantically attracted to me, but they adore my friendship and I love their spirit and vitality. Aquarians can be flakey, but I look up to them more than any other sign. They contend with Sagittarius for most interesting sign in my eyes, and are nearly as often as funny. However, as much as I really love Aquarius, they can't handle my personality as well as anyone in the first tier, so I can be a bit of a problem for them even though they seem nearly perfect to me. I don't have much experience with Aries - I always seem to get along with them but neither of us go out of our way to hang out with each other. I hung out with many Virgos over my lifetime, and I always expect us to butt heads, yet we never do. I've been growing respect for them recently.
Scorpios are the only water sign I can handle for any lengthy period of time. They are chatty and remind me a bit of air signs. However, they are prone to sour feelings like most water signs if there are any disagreements. However, they don't get burned by me the way Pisces and Cancer do. Unfortunately it seems that Cancer and Pisces get hurt by my very presence, even though I'm quiet and collected, because I'm very blunt with my honesty. I can't sweeten up the truth, and even though I never intentionally try to hurt anyone's feelings, my advocacy of my sincerely held opinions rub harshly against the sensitive nature of Cancers and Pisces. Scorpios, on the other hand, have a little bit of fight to them, making them easier for me to negotiate with. Their nature is more resilient and therefore they are much more forgiving of unintentional aggression.
