Someone I know kept asking me about leo pride, saying that most leos he knew (except for July leos) were this and that. He brought it up more than a few times, but I always thought he was the one who displayed traits he was acting pessimistic about in others. He didn't know his ascendant so we looked it up… BAM.. I definitely have the Leo "I don't give a shit about what others think about me" aura/vibe and I think perhaps that people's energy takes precedence over what they look like. My dad's a Leo and he's always been awesome. Most Leos are very generous towards me. I have Jupiter in Leo so that might have something to do with it.

I agree with the others. If you are closed off and standoffish, of course people aren't going to like you. It's not intimidation, you're just being unapproachable. Why would someone waste their time?
I am a leo rising too..I also get people tell me I am intimidating. I think you have being an introvert to blame, my Leo Asc has no problem getting me friends and acquaintances. Most people never think i am a Pisces but assume I am a leo because I am super outgoing, talkative, and bubbly in person.
But I will say, perhaps you do have a sense of arrogance about yourself and do not blame that on your Leo Asc., afterall here you are ASSUMING (keyword here) that people are in awe of you, think so highly of you. Maybe. Perhaps that is why some act funny around you, there are plenty of petty people in this world who do that BUT maybe...just maybe it is YOU who acts funny.
But I will say, perhaps you do have a sense of arrogance about yourself and do not blame that on your Leo Asc., afterall here you are ASSUMING (keyword here) that people are in awe of you, think so highly of you. You make it seem as if I enjoy these type of reactions- but I don't at all. I'm not an attention seeker- I avoid the limelight. I know I'm not the only one- I'm sure Scorpio ascendants feel misunderstood too.
