I have my moon in the 12th house and i can say it's a good placement. Difficult at times but it's worth it

No i prefer transform the negative parts into positive ones. Sometimes, i admit, it's really tough, but in the end it's really worth it

I always think like this : if you have a weakness, transform it into a strengh. I spend too much time in negativity in the past thinking that i'm doomed etc it gets me nowhere, or just a little closer to insanity ( Neptune is my second dominant planet after all ) i don't want that ever again.

ty for your positivity 🙂

but if i could change this from 12th to non-water house, i would without i doubt 😉

Gem moon in 8. No thanks! It's not easy.

Haha. I have a Aries moon in 8th.. I like mine.

Explain how 8th affects your Aries moon please?

I can be really impatient, but I hide it well. If something interests me enough, I can really focus tho.

I feel things deeply but I hate showing it, unless I'm really close to someone. My emotions can be intense, so I sometimes block them out.. which I know isn't the healthiest thing to do.

I don't know one person that has personal 12th house placements that is happy about it. They experience a lot of confusion so I am happy I skipped this house out of the three water houses.

I'm cool with Moon and Mars in the 4th, Venus in the 8th. (not really happy with Mars being there but for it not to be there I would have to let go of my Moon conjunct Mars thing and I don't wanna). On the other hand I would be expressive enough even without that conjunction so idk.

Not thrilled with the emotional roller coaster but at least it allows me to accept even when I might not understand. I have a lot of compassion and I like that.

The best thing about the 4th is that wherever you are at kids smile and instinctively come towards you and away from their parents. You could make a killing with trafficking or just be always protected if some shit goes down...just smile and they will voluntarily be your tiny human shields.

From my experience of Moon in 8th, y'all stay awake at night staring at your partners to see if they are for real. My Moon in the 4th finds this cute and not creepy/psychotic at all.

The Moon's at home in 4th - so in theory - that might be the best house for this placement (where it feels more comfortable). The sign has a saying too ofc.

8th house can be quit harsh on the moon (deep-seated insecurities and trust issues - in particular) and 12th house can be confusing (one might be prone to absorb other people's emotions - so crowded places like a mall can be quite hard to deal with / on the other hand - one can find its own emotions quite confusing at times).

Depends. If the Moon and Mercury has a major aspect with Neptune or if you have personal planets in Pisces (Mercury in particular) - you can get a taste of 12th house as well. With 8th house is different - the confusion can come from fear (which can influence one to push his feelings away) - from a lack of trust in ones feelings and emotions... The nature of the 8th house is fixed and controlling - while emotions and feelings can be fleeting at times. And that doesn't sit well with an 8th house moon (there can be a strong tendency's to keep your feelings under control - to keep them hidden). You might find it hard to trust your feelings - and that too can be a source of confusion. There can be a constant need for reassuring (to see proof). Somehow similar to having a Scorpio Moon or the Moon having a major aspect with Pluto.

The confusion is more literal for a 12th House Moon. It's not based on fear (unless it's aspecting Pluto or Saturn - since fear is among their negative influence) - it's more like getting drunk with feelings (: a rose colored glasses - type of experience).

On the positive side - having an 8th house Moon can be quite helpful in learning how control your emotions. It's also the best placement for dealing with emotional pain (the most therapeutic). For emotional maturity and a better understanding of the psych (it can be quite common for 8th house moons to have a deep interest in Psychology).

With time one can find ways to adapt. There's people withouts hands who learn how to use their legs instead. They eat with their legs too - but obviously - they're not being rude. That's simply a workaround - where they learn to work with what they have.

Lmao, that is the same thing he said...forgetting I have Venus in the 8th and I can and will prove it.

I used to wake up in the morning feeling this sensation you have when someone looks at you...and my mind was wondering. So I recorded the next 3 nights. On the fourth, I just waited for him to get out of bed again and sit on the couch opposite the bed and smoke and stare at me.

Me: "Hello, did you deduce...whatever you are deducing?"

Him: "What are you talking about?"

Me: You stare at me for hours while you are smoking.

Him: I'm just smoking, why are you paranoid?

Me: I am not paranoid. I can prove it.

Him: You're bluffing.

So I showed him the recordings, adding thrilling commentary like "This is the part where you slither out of bed..see?". The shock/horror on his face will be one of those hilarious memories I will take to my grave.

My moon is in the 5th... does that spare me?

5th house is good. get out of here lol.

Reallly? Lol why? What does that mean?

do you relate?

The 5th house rules your hobbies, romantic interests, children, and creative pursuits. What you find most fun and how you have fun can be found by the sign on the cusp and planets within the house. The kind of romantic you are, how you want to be courted, and the people you date and fall in love with are also ruled by the 5th house. Children are ruled by this house, the personality types and your approaches towards them. What you're most creative with. what you feel best at creating, falls here as well. Generally, people with planets here (except Saturn) are highly creative people. The 5th house is ruled by Leo and the Sun and is a succedent house.

5th House in Gemini

You prefer intellectual hobbies, ones where you can utilize your mind, especially in creative ways. In love, you like variety, and will date around before you decide to settle down with anyone. You need love to be fun, light, and carefree. You can bring out the intellectual potential in your children, and they can have sharp, active minds, need variety, and have many interests.

Natal Moon in the 5th House

This can be a highly creative placement. The Fifth House loves to create things, and with the Moon here, it becomes an emotional need to create. This usually manifests as artistic creativity, and many actors, singers, artists, and the like have Fifth House Moons or prominent Fifth Houses. Hobbies can be central, and you need a certain amount of time to be able to pursue your own interests, otherwise you won’t be a happy camper. Expressing yourself is something that you feel you absolutely have to do or you’ll just burst apart, and there may be times where you’re quite the drama queen. A Fifth House Moon is also usually good with children, though you may become attached in unhealthy ways. You’re also very emotional in romantic relationships, and can become attached to romantic partners quickly, so be sure to choose people wisely before you really get involved. There’s nothing wrong with being friends first, though some of you may have a hard time not being in a relationship, being “in love with love.” You can also be easily influenced by other people, so you may need to learn to be more discriminating. Those with very difficultly aspected Moons may have to watch for problems with gambling and negative risk-taking.

Beg to differ! Saturn in the 5th is indeed highly creative. It's downfall, however, is self-imposed criticism where nothing a native of this placement creates is good enough. Recognition may come later in life provided pursuits of creative nature aren't abandoned.

12th house is a personal no from me.

4th and 2nd house are the best houses.

8th and 10th houses are the worst.

Why not the 12th house?

I get why you said that the 4th and 2nd houses are the best placements, because the moon is at home in the 4th and exalts in the 2nd.

And 8th and 10th the worst because they're at their fall and detriment.

Scorpio venus in the 12th

Cancer Mars in the 8th

Fuck you water houses.

Hee hee! I think those are very very beautiful placements! I've always admired those who were deep, emotional, and sensitive! i'm only a cancer sun!! HOW BORING IS THAT! hahahah! The rest of my chart is in earth and air all in the tenth house it seems like! For some reason though, I feel as if I am an empath and I am too emotional for this world! It is really odd! But who knows... maybe that's just my first house moon talking

Moon rejoice in the III because this is the Place of the Goddess Moon and approximately between 60 ° to 90° from eastern horizon line. However, depending on the term, proper face, significator of it's desposition, and the combination of the stars to the moon will play a major role on how Moon will play out in nativity's life. It's more impactful to nativity if the birth chart is nocturnal.

I have mine in the 8th, and a 4th house stellium lol. I appreciate the 8th house placement. I don't think I'd enjoy 12th house placements from what I've read but I'm sure it has it's strengths.
