Am I The Only Person Who Keeps Their Sun Sign Secret?
is this a bait to ask what your sun sign is?
You can think what you want, it makes no difference to me.
I was just curious if people were embarrassed by their sun.
no one ever asks in real life so it's not a problem. lol astrology hobby is my dirty little secret, only my husband and close family knows i read this stuff. But otherwise, it's not something i want to announce, "hey you know instead of reading books and sewing dresses for hobby i read astrology"
are people asking you in real life? like are you in an astrology class?

Just curious. I feel really embarrassed to have my sun sign. When i feel little in common with it.I strongly identify with my Sagittarius moon sign so that is what I tell people when they ask.
Because when you tell people your sun especially one that is universally despised justifiably btw) they lump you as being the same.
Being fair though, when I have told people in my person my sun they do say I dont act like it. Which I guess is a compliment. I only tell them after they've known me for a while.
I really think people should get to know each other first before making judgements based off generalizations.
I will say when you look at a persons moon and rising that gives you more insight to them as a person. But not the definitive picture.
Anyone else astrologically hiding in the closet?
It's tough being an aqua, but when the tough gets going, I start walling myself off.

i'm a 1st houser so that aries energy is kind of narcissistic, in me me me. and add that with some pisces and it's delusional.

I tend to work in offices with lot of a women (hence SB has more women then men). And at least one of them is an astrology hound. I keep my interest in it private.
If there is a girl I like I am interested in their moon sign, but I dont ask as their birthday is not my business unless we get exclusive.

Just in here, so no one can use it against me. Since that's what all people who are into signs do with each other lately online. But in the real world I don't. No one normal in the real world cares about signs and calling out only the negative shit every time they speak. But then most people online who talk crap wouldn't say half of the shit they say in here to someone's face. I think people who take signs too serious are looked at as not right in the head by normal people in real life.

I don't see the reason to hide your sign really. Why should you be embarrassed by your sun or moon signs or any other sign in your chart? Don't worry about the shit talk that is on your sign as every sign gets the same shitty feedback about it.

I just asked if anyone else felt embarrassed by their sun sign. I dont like my sun sign, I think a majority (with some exceptions of course) of the people in it are douchebags. The hate is earned.
I dont identify with my sun sign at all. Let me compare to this - I was one of the lone punk-goth kids that was in my bubba country town in texas. I had no identification with their redneck ways. Not into football, even though I've grown to be a fan of other sports, hate mainstream country - (like the typical hipster am into the underground stuff) am not a republican.
I am not hating on those peeps, it's their thing, just not mine. But peoples misconceptions of the south based on never being there is real. And I get it because for the most part the stereotype is true.
Same thing with my sun sign, I'm different but most of the people under it act like jerkoffs. The hate is real for them here.
Contrary to what people may think, Im not trying to play cute. I just dont want someone to be reaching in a debate and try use the ole "well, you are saying that because you are a typical insert sign or I know you're a jerk because of your sun sign"
People have a klan mentality towards certain signs. Instead of going on a case by case basis, they automatically pass judgement.
You know that old saying, there's a disgrace in every race? Same goes for it being a disgrace in every sign. But people want to cling to the sun sign generalization to protect themselves. Even though there are other factors based on what else is in people's chart, their maturity level, the background they grew up under, etc.
I dont believe in categories, not one thing entirely defines me. I am my own person and walk the path I want to.
