What can a person do to be more like their North Node?

***

The north node

The north node is the exact opposite zodiac sign of the south node. It illuminates the terrain that’s calling your name, but climbing to the peak of this mountain is like trekking up Mt. Everest. You’ll have to lighten your baggage and enlist a proverbial Sherpa to get you up that hill. It’s your learning curve. North node activities require you to stretch out of your comfort zone. Once you do, you’ll be amazed by how fulfilled you feel. It’s like the activation of your life’s mission. The sooner you align yourself with this path, the more purpose-driven your life will become. However, you will often return to your south node as that “ace in the hole”—kind of like returning home to your roots, even after you’ve made your way in the world.

I have aquarius north node. So for me is trying to be less self centered and less egocentric.

I am very attracted to aqua energy and I always feel I learn about myself with them.

Leo SN always try’s to pull me back, lol, so I am working on it.

Can you relate to this?:

A tendency to become overly attached to the drama of romance and personal relationships, to be willful and overly focused on getting what we want, and to resist being “one of the crowd” in an effort to stand out as unique and special, are some of the issues this position suggests. With this position, we need to let go of our fears in relationships by offering freedom to our partners instead of expecting our partners to act as we want them to act, to accept that we are all equal and that we can still be special if we belong to a community, to move towards greater impartiality, and to cultivate sensitivity to the needs of others. By letting go of the strong desire of getting what we want in the here and now, satisfaction will come more easily as we find that we get what we need. Our personal relationships and romances will suffer when we take things too personally, and expect others to follow a certain script that we have unconsciously written for them. Learning to let go of the need for drama and attention, and moving towards a more objective approach to our lives, as well as cultivating true friendships, will help us to achieve a greater sense of balance. Our relationships with others—as well as our relationship with ourselves—will benefit.

Hmmmmm (your description)....mine:

Retrograde North Node in Gemini and 5th House: This person's karmic goals, and best direction of evolutionary growth is inquisitive, witty, perceptive, adaptable, and seeks out information. Most often this manifests in the

area of life dealing with finding joy, pleasure, and creative expression.

Gemini North Node

Release (Sagittarius south node):

Ungrounded wanderlust, fixating on the future, righteous zealotry, being a jack of all trades, biting off more than you can chew, speaking without gathering the facts, being overly philosophical or getting lost in theory, arrogance, hedonism and greed, lasciviousness, overwhelming yourself with too many options, boorish and opinionated behavior

Embrace (Gemini north node):

Community activism, “being here now,” playful exploration, doing one thing at a time, dialogue and active listening skills, partnerships and dynamic duos, local activity and hobbies

Ok...so this makes sense but my NN is retrograde...so idk lol

With North Node in the seventh house, our South Node is in the first house.

A tendency to rely on the self so much as to alienate important others in our lives, to be excessively competitive to the point of a me-first attitude, to take things personally, and to be impatient, rash, and impulsive at the expense of personal happiness are some of the issues this position suggests. With this position, we need to work on sensitizing ourselves to the needs of others, to learn tact and cooperation, to put ourselves in another’s shoes, and to let go of an overwhelming self-consciousness that is blocking our desire to win. We are often afraid of the demands that a partner might put on us, and we don’t naturally look for feedback, preferring to act on the moment—on our own hunches and impulses. But for however hard we push ourselves, our plans will be blocked until we stop to consider the other side. We tend to go it alone, often passing up opportunities for growth because we are too focused on our own personal survival. Our impulses and instincts are overloaded, lacking in perspective, and acting upon them will often bring us strife—that is, until we learn to look at the other side, perhaps through the eyes of another. Through partnership, and through cooperation with others, we will attain the inner balance necessary for us to achieve our goals.

Welp...I'm never going to get to my NN lol.

Capricorn SN / Cancer NN?

Yes 😂

I can say that for the moment i'm a 70% Cap and 30% Crab. Still a long way.

At least there's progress. What are you doing to climb that Mt. Everest?

It seems better to stay at the Cap side than to get to the Crab side though...

Especially from the opposite perspective (Cap NN).

Lol. Like how you put both the placement and the house together.

Based on this, and what you wrote above, it sounds like a lot of needing to work with others.

You’ll have to lighten your baggage and enlist a proverbial Sherpa to get you up that hill. It’s your learning curve. North node activities require you to stretch out of your comfort zone. However, you will often return to your south node as that “ace in the hole”—kind of like returning home to your roots, even after you’ve made your way in the world.
