There is a strong correlation with the combination of those two things.
I never once stated that someone solely possessing the enjoyment of reckless sexual encounters would be more likely to enter into prostitution. I am saying that someone with that mentality already has the foundation necessary for someone to be attracted to that line of work.
No amount of money in the world is going to make someone sell their bodies for sex unless they already have a reckless mentality to go along with it.

Everyone has a price. How many of us have worked a job we despise because we needed the money?
If you were out of options, had hungry mouths to feed, you do what you need too to survive.
Necessity vs pride.
Has nothing to do with a 'reckless mentality'. In fact many prostitutes have safer sex than the rest of us squares because they know the risks and don't have the comfort of an emotional connection to make them lower their guard.
