Idk what edition it would have been back in the 90's but I got this for my birthday or Christmas when I was about 7.

I had (still have em in storage) quite a few of these, the "Dear America" books.

The Fear Street books, and also Goosebumps books! I was all over the cheesiness! Lol.

Ooh yes, those Eyewitness books that tell you a bunch of random shit about whatever topic it was, I loved those as well! A lot of similar style geography books also.

I’m realizing that I was severely cheated out of black book characters growing up.

These kids got it made today.

I loved those and the optical illusion books...I had some card trick books as well but they didn't hold my attention for long lol.

But I was obsessed with rocks as a kid. Still have some of my old collection.

I've always collected rocks. Like, normal rocks that I just think they look cool or whatevs - I get it 😁💛

I grew up spending a lottttt of time at my grandparent's and they lived on a lake so in the warmer months I'd find all sorts of rocks n little shells n random stuff that I "had to have". I still carry a few of my favorite rocks with me to this day, in my purse and in highschool I had some scattered around my car lol 🤷🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️🙃

I loved the choose your own ending books too!

I was maybe 6yrs old when I was introduced to the 'Scary Stories to tell in the dark' books. Such fond memories I have of them and I absolutely LOVE Stephen Gammell's artwork!
