I'm going to pull out a tough question here.

Perfect breakfast/ lunch/ dinner? I want to see the taste in food..don't answer "pussy" Leo Moon 😛

Same for J9 if he stumbles in here because I know he is in the field 😄

Mindreader....

Breakfast- eggs, crispy bacon, pan fried potatoes lightly seasoned
Lunch- fresh fruit, cold cuts like hard salami, cheese like gouda or Monterey Jack
Dinner-Anything eastern European or north Italian

BlackIndian, coolio. 🙂

@CancerontheCusp and J9, go ahead and answer it, too. I'm curious if its a general trend or not. I have mixed feelings about Cancer men. There's the understanding and the attraction and the similarities are sometimes annoying to me, especially the over sensitive aspects.

Good question, yours.
Honestly, it's a mixed bag.
I've had some wonderful relationships with Cancer women, and some not so nice.

I think for me the dividing line is the level of self absorption that filters through.
When all those Cancer traits come out of an "it's all about me" aspect, it's not just an annoyance, but a total turn off.
When they're coming from a real interest and concern for the other person, it's great.

I suppose that can be applied to any sign, but imho it gets magnified with the emotional display that can ensue (think 2 year old pounding and kicking the floor having a temper tantrum)

Just to add, while the connectivity is there emotion wise, in my case the bad behavior gets to be too much (Cancers and absorption ofthe environment around them).

My question: and ANYONE can answer this but I'd like to get as many answers as possible.

What are your thoughts on true love? Soul mate or the "one."

I'm still a mix bag on that... on one hand my scientific mind it's all hormones that couple with the fact of sheer numbers (human pop) there has to be more than one and there can be many.

But my romantic mind wishes in my heart there was the one or true love. Haha maybe I'm just getting emotional.

Thought I'd ask Cancers I always learn the most from other Cardinals.

@xtina I believe in true love & in Soulmates. Someone that cpmpletes you & accepts you as you are (including flaws). I learned that you find your Soulmate or the one for you by not looking for them. Since you can't see love; it has to find you. When its time, God will bless with us with someone special that futs us as a whole. This is what Soulmates & true love means to me. Good question

What I've found is that there are all sorts of levels of attraction and matches when one encounters others. There's the amount of sexual chemistry, there's emotional chemistry, there's mental and intellectual chemistry, etc. and each person you meet clicks or doesn't click on a sliding scale of intensity and connecting with you. I'll try to make this as easy to explain and understand as possible but for me, all of this knowledge comes from an almost instant feel and read of the person, it's highly intuitive.

Some people have enough of all of those connections that it's possible to fall in love and have a relationship, and it's all very ordinary. I've always thought this was just how it was but my heart said there's more, but I didn't have the knowing or experience of it to really KNOW if there was more.

Then there is soulmate in a romantic sense. When you meet a soulmate you'll know it instantly, straight to the gut and heart. It completely defies logic. You will KNOW this person without ever having met before. The intensity of emotional/sexual/intellectual chemistry is off the charts and all equally there. Addicting isn't the half of it. If there is more than one soulmate for a person I don't know for certain as I've yet to meet more than one (and I'm not talking about sibling of the heart or friend type soulmate....I have those, too, and they are several).

Some of it could be a mirror.
There have been times I've noticed a bad habit and thought "wow, do I come off like that?"
In that case, I'm more annoyed with myself and work on it.
Otherwise, it's in the simply annoying category.

I have nonromantic soul mates too.

So, I'm guessing based on your description (and it is a lovely one, really touched my heart) that you've been through this before. Can you please elaborate? The who, when, and where? I might have a bad memory but I can not recall an instant where I have felt that way romantically, friendly, yes... romantically no.

You can see it in that old couple married for 50+ years who still have that sparkle in their eyes when they look at each other.
You just know life hasn't been a bed of roses for them, but if asked, they would do it all again.

Soulmates? Don't really know. If there is such a thing, haven't met mine.

Yes, this has happened, and wonderfully, magically, over the moon blessed for it, too. The details: we met on FB by sheer chance. The connection was electric and we spent about 2 years circling but not touching the subject. Not quite 2 years ago we finally touched on the topic and as soon as the cat was out of the bag it was like an emotional/verbal avalanche of sharing and there was no going back. I fell in love with him before I even knew what he looked like. Having met in person hasn't changed a thing other than to make the connection all the more stronger. We don't live in the same state and our current life events are keeping us apart in the physical sense, so for now it's a long distance relationship with the rare getting together when time and money allows. If anything the connection just gets stronger and deeper the longer it goes. We talk daily for hours about anything and everything.

It really defies logic on every level but I can't deny it's there, so....it is what it is. 🙂

Thank you for sharing your story. It's always been a subject I love to talk about. People's love story. How they feel in love and why. Haha... see me at my old restaurant I was asking couples young and old about their relationships.

I don't think I've seen that in a lot of the old couples I've known. Never had much example in that department.... most of the ones I've seen seem unhappy or obligated. I have seen that in pictures or the internet but never IRL. Haha maybe thats why I'm such the skeptic.

There is always hope and the best advice I can say is keep that hope, that dream of who and what you want alive and when you least expect it and aren't looking you'll be more than happily surprised. As for the terms "true love", etc....they are so inadequate for what it really is. I have yet to find the right words to fully convey the scope of it, the depth of it, the sheer intertwining of it all. Take the most breathtaking thing you can imagine and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

But my romantic mind wishes in my heart there was the one or true love. Haha maybe I'm just getting emotional.

Thought I'd ask Cancers I always learn the most from other Cardinals.

I think there is such a thing as true love.
You can see it in that old couple married for 50+ years who still have that sparkle in their eyes when they look at each other.
You just know life hasn't been a bed of roses for them, but if asked, they would do it all again.

Soulmates? Don't really know. If there is such a thing, haven't met mine.

I don't think I've seen that in a lot of the old couples I've known. Never had much example in that department.... most of the ones I've seen seem unhappy or obligated. I have seen that in pictures or the internet but never IRL. Haha maybe thats why I'm such the skeptic.

I've been fortunate to see it a handful of times.
But the majority are similar to what you describe.

Wow, there is hope for true love after all.

Thank you for sharing your story. It's always been a subject I love to talk about. People's love story. How they feel in love and why. Haha... see me at my old restaurant I was asking couples young and old about their relationships.

I really wish the best for you and your love 🙂

There is always hope and the best advice I can say is keep that hope, that dream of who and what you want alive and when you least expect it and aren't looking you'll be more than happily surprised. As for the terms "true love", etc....they are so inadequate for what it really is. I have yet to find the right words to fully convey the scope of it, the depth of it, the sheer intertwining of it all. Take the most breathtaking thing you can imagine and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Thank you, haha I've always thought I'd be that lonely old cat and dog lady... but I won't lose hope 🙂

My question: and ANYONE can answer this but I'd like to get as many answers as possible.

"Vietnamese baguette fast food "

Banh Mi?

Yup, you are correct.

Vietnamese food is the best and my favorite... born and raised from it.

Reason #3357545490 why I love Aries people.

And here I thought I ran out of reasons.

Haha I don't know if it counts since I was born with chopsticks in my mouth and raised on baby octopus 🙂

I don't find it annoying at all. If anything, I find the chemistry very seductive and sexy. You are oversimplifying how complicated the both sexes of this sun sign are. We are very similar and we compliment each other really well but both sexes are wired differently enough to keep it interesting.

I'm intrigued by it all because it's either sibling like or an attraction with extreme moments of annoyance. I haven't met a fellow cancer who fit outside of those boxes, yet.

Breakfast:
Poached eggs. Smoked sausage. Hash browns. A few slices of tomato, maybe some picked olives. Apple juice. & sex.

Lunch:

I eat everything. as far as lunch, I'm in my Vietnamese baguette fast food phase of my life. If I had the time, I would rather go to a French/Italian restaurant for lunch during weekdays and a nice seafood restaurant during weekends. I love seafood!

Dinner:

Green chicken curry, pad thai, kway tiao.

That's about it.

Whew! For a while there, I thought this thread would never get back on topic. Thank J9 everyone.
