I'm a Scorpio... me and my cap decided to stop seeing each other due to reoccurring issues, to try to heal and work on said issues. We still love each other very much. We work together, and don't have to much contact outside of work. We still have disagreements here and there. But he always seems to come back to talk things out with me. Though we don't know what the future holds, I know he doesn't have to talk things out at all. So is this a sign he maybe hoping it work in the end? He can confuse one a lot! But I still love him.

I like a little possessiveness... But it always seems to trigger our tempers. And the we argue and argue. It just got to the point he thought every guy was after me.

We work together.... And yes there are a lot of men around. When we would go out together he would notice when someone was looking at me. But being a Scorpio I don't feed into others attention. He says he knows that...but we always end up arguing

I'm sure this has been asked countless times but how do you tell when a Cap man is interested in connecting with you?

Back story: I've known this Cap sun, Merc. Mars Cancer moon for 17 years. I haven't talked to him in 5 years. We had a on-off again friendship when we were younger. We literally loved each other like best friends or hated each other like mortal enemies. A few weeks ago I bumped into him at an event I was working. We were friendly with eachother and his family was very attentive to me as I know them well. He wasn't. Which was fine. But he added me on social media. And now I can see that he just matched with me on Tinder...(Such an awkward app)

I haven't matched him yet. But it's kind of awkward to approve or deny him on tinder?

Are Caps shy about re-connecting? Or? Just confused since he wasn't very talkative with me in person but is doing things on social media to suggest he might be paying attention more then he's letting on.

Is it just friendship or maybe more—

After more than 30 days, I messaged the cap and mentioned hanging out. Since then, I've seen a big increase in his effort. From like a 1 to a 5 (on a 10 scale). I'm actually impressed. He invited me out to eat and suggested a Moroccan restaurant. I politely declined because i didn't see anything on the menu that I'd like. So then the day of the planned dinner comes and we hadn't talked in a few days. I didn't pursue it figured we just wouldn't go and then he texts me another place. He even texted me two parking lot locations and sent the maps for each. That alone surprised me. Anyways at dinner, there was good conversation. We talked a lot about relationships. He told me twice that he hasn't dated or slept with anyone since me. I also learned a lot of new things about him and a few things about his family. We then shared food/eating it off each other's plate. It was a nice good time. He bought the drinks at the bar. I paid for dinner. He told me he'd pay next time.

Later in the week, I tell him that I'm going to a st Patrick's day parade/drinkingfest. He said he was going with his friend peter and wants to meet up with me at some point. He seems excited about it.

He's texting more- responding quickly, we've reminisced about some of the good/romantic times

Next month it will be a year since we first started talking online. Just pointing that out. Not sure if that matters.

obviously I don't want to jump to conclusions and I definitely don't want to ask him what he's thinking because I feel it is way too soon. But I feel I need to know so I can handle myself appropriately and not do something dumb.

So based on what you just read and what you know about caps, is it just friendship or maybe more?

He didn't put a lot of effort into the relationship, which caused me to become insecure and question the relationship a lot. I eventually ended it and that's when my emotions took me on a roller coaster ride for a few months. I must say I'm impressed that he never once disappeared on me and he always remained consistent with me.

But I'm not ready to have any serious talks with him yet. He's more of a go with the flow type of guy. The fact that he wanted to hang out twice in less than two weeks is a first! But neither of us went to the parade today because it was -6 with the windchill.

It's not about chasing, it's about making what you want and need in a relationship heard. But if you don't know what you want and keep your options open then you're also sending mixed messages to the person of interest.

And yes, everyone is different to how they approach circumstances. Personally, I don't casual date. I don't have the emotional capacity to handle it. I'm an exclusive dater. If I am seeing someone I like then I focus on him only. I am also aware he can be dating multiple people at once, unless I ask I will not know. But I make it known to the man that I am an exclusive dater and I understand he could be seeing other people. At some point I have to decide if I want to move forward or not.

Edit: Have you worked on your insecurity? Did you ever ask him why he didn't put in a lot of effort? If he is hanging around it could be he is wanting another chance.

Lol it is hard with text sometimes that's why I use emojis to try and help, evidently didn't quirk work then ?

It takes time, it's been 18 Months and at times I still don't completely get him but my dad is a Capricorn so I've experience but they aren't all the same and I find younger caps can be very different different to older caps. Probably life experience etc.

You're back in touch with yours aren't you? I really think you should tell him how you really feel and what you'd really like. Then if he can't provide you that than you know to move on and let go. They aren't mind readers and it's not always a bad thing to show vulnerability you know.

It takes time, it's been 18 Months and at times I still don't completely get him but my dad is a Capricorn so I've experience but they aren't all the same and I find younger caps can be very different different to older caps. Probably life experience etc.

Yes, we're back in contact. I'm not ready to discuss my feelings right now. It was my feelings that got me into the mess I was in before... He seems like more of a go with the flow kind of guy. I don't have any expectations right now. It's nice to hang out with him again though. I think that's the best way to see how he feels about me.

I read that many posts I may have confused your story but I thought it was that you wouldn't tell him how you really felt instead just pretending you were happy just being friends. Anyway I hope it goes well this time but just tread carefully and it sounds like you are. We are attracted to who we are attracted to ??‍♀️

However one thing I've learnt as I've got older is that guys are either into you or they are not. If they aren't sure then just walk away because that tells you everything you need to know . Don't hang about hoping/waiting for the situation to change. It can be hard to walk away but it's better than waiting for something that may never happen.

No. We are very selfish and as per Ayn Rand it is a virtue.

But to be truthful I have rarely loved myself. It is until we start loving ourselves we don't start living. So am still in the process but I know it is not bad. Everyone should do it. And I love my family a lot.

We like things on our own terms. If we don't like it at that point we can't be affectionate.

It takes us some time to get comfortable around someone. Also too much affection feels suffocating at times hence we like to keep a certain distance. But if we decide to be affectionate (though not too much) we will show but since that could be out of character for us we might not show it at all.

I'm with a scorpio sun, cap moon, sag venus...

From what I can tell so far, moon > sun > venus

I mostly see his sun & moon. Not sure how his sag energy factors in yet.

In your situation from what I recall of cap sun sag moon, they are still pretty steady & traditional in romantic relationships.

Why are we so serious? That is really subjective but, generally, we like to work hard. When the work is done, then we play hard.
