There was a Reddit where a guy was with a girl while he was building himself up.

He finally got to where he wants to be and now he wants to dump her because she is a constant reminder of his poor days. He wants someone new and fresh. Someone who doesn’t know about his previous faults.

He doesn’t even see her as a partner to build with anymore. He views her as a struggle plate.

Where for her, it was all love.

some men think you must be 'low value' to date their 'subpar, disabled/sick/ill, broke, loser selves' and they will try to 'punish' you for being in a relationship with them. this why i'm now into dudes who likes to aim 'above their league.'

man or woman, wouldn't it be a green flag tho?

i'd be a bit nervous for her health though. can be pretty hard when you don't have a backup kidney.

You're gonna have to give up your kidney if she gets sick coz someone else has hers. What if you say no?

Yes, I paid my dues to society and dated a couple broke guys. I always felt guilty to overlook them. Keep love first. Blah blah blah

Look, I’m done being a broke man’s punching bag and doormat.

You will always be on the receiving end of “why I’m mad today.”

It was also very disrespectful to my own father to even give these guys the time of day. He is an exceptional father and for me to date someone who doesn’t even have the same values and work ethic was disgraceful. Seriously, I need to apologize to him.

I respect not wanting to be with someone who can't bring money to the table but be real, it's more deep than just hard work and values y'all be complaining about them not having.. Deep down y'all look down at a dude for being broke.. This is a topic because it bothers y'all because ya can't seem to get the famous rich guy ya really be wanting deep deep deep down inside. God said don't covet other people's stuff and don't worship gold.. Even tho Shakespeare wrote the bible, the messages in it are real.. Ya gotta get right with God. But most likely ya won't.
