Leos are horrible texters!
Reasons Why Leos May Be Poor Text Responders
Leos may be less responsive in texting due to their focus on real-life interactions and confidence in face-to-face communication. They often prioritize personal connections over digital messages, which can make them seem slow or inattentive in texting. Texts are just synthetic and not the same as talking. Talking isn't even the same as actual face to face conversation but it's close. In a text you aren't actually communicating. Without body language and tone it's just a punch of synthetic words that mean nothing. There are many moments where words do mean something, but a text isn't one imo.
I'm good with texting except sometimes I'm too detailed lol.
I think Leo's are good communicators in general, texting, calls, all of it but my sample size is pretty small, I don't have a ton of them in my life.
Good with talking and texting from my experience just depends on how busy they are. Rarely have to pick up the phone first they usually initiate.
Texts are functional.

Leos are not very good with technology. They prefer human interactions. They're just better at it.Leo in my life doesn't really like to text. Would rather meet in person.
I agree they are not much into texting but i dont think they are not good with technology. My leo husband is so techno savvy and he expects the same from me . He gets very concern and surprised(even sarcastic) if i dont know any feature in my phone or any piece of machine/electronics i am using .

Absolutely! When i first met my leo (today husband) it was more of a relief to me to see him always calling instead of msging . Before him most guys i knew msged more than calling. I did not know that until i met this leo that i preferred calling over texting .

And thats why I believe smilies were invented. To somehow replace the body language .

Hey alot of Leos are good with technology cuz of the polarity aspect with Aquarius which rules over technology.

My leo and I are fwbs and he lives across the street but I hadn't seen him in a week but I know he had a swollen wisdom tooth so I made contact via text first like 3 times since we've begun this thing, but at this point I'll wait for him to come to me. Although the bad texting I'm sure is in his nature, I don't wanna feel like I'm chasing him lol

Other than leo sun and rising he mostly has virgo placements in his chart .
He only has Lilith in Aqua and Ceres in Aqua
Yeh always prefer in person, maaaaaybe email is okay.
Mostly a functional thing for meh, texts and pms seem too much like small talk- which is something I struggle with. Big time. @_@

Lol no worries.
I have Mercury in Leo in the 11th house which, as you know rules over groups and friends so you can already tell I'm good at messaging back people, anyone. And I have Sagittarius 3rd house meaning I'm philosophical in communication and travel.

Not sure of my guy's houses, but his mercury is in leo too lol. He has a lot of planets in retrograde though. I'm just learning about that lol.

THIS. In fact texting is a pet peeve of mine. I can't stand it most of the time (unless I'm texting a friend or a woman I'm interested in).
It's not that we hate technology. I'm pretty savvy as are my other Leo friends, but texting seems too impersonal. My biggest grip is it has made the art of conversation and the art of dating more difficult (and less straight forward). Leo men also like to REALLY get to know the woman they are interested in, this is virtually impossible to do over text. Information gets lost in translation and dont get me started over the emotional texters. People love to insinuate meaning out of nowhere. I hate it when someone tries to apply tone of voice to my texts (or get mad when I didn't apply their tone of voice in their texts). Also the phone is for longer more complex conversations, while texts are for brief, truncated messages. At some point people decided to switch it up. Dont call me and say "Hey" and then text me the next great American novel. Why?
In the end Leos are extroverts, even the calm ones. We tend to be (and like to be) in your face. Texting just doesn't make sense because it seems dull.
Honestly I just want am example of a good text.
Fire signs do not do well in texting(i think) :p ..we can do better in phone calls, and are comfortable the most face-to-face..
..agree with Soul and Montgomery on page 1. Texting can never be substitute for an actual interaction.. it's something I like to do when there's absolutely no way of talking over phone and there is an urgency to convey a message..
I feel no pleasurable emotional human feeling while texting. It feels like a chore most times I also can't imagine a real human on the other end. But I def love to actually talk like on a phone.?☎??

Well I guess I really effed up. Because I had to confess my true feelings over text last week...
That's actually fine, especially if he/she likes you. Since you're an Aqua I'd imagine it took you time to get to that point with the other person, so he/she is probably happily relieved after all of the emotional build up. It's not that we can't handle texting, we just don't want everything to hinge on it. It's easier for us when interactions occur in person/over the phone. Remember Leos are very action based. If we're going to text you, we're going to try and see you/invite you out to something.
For example I generally wont initiate long text conversations until I'm SURE the other person is into it. The Aqua woman I'm dating has a busy schedule like me so texting is a must. I'm completely cool with that because I under stand the need for it. I also found that texting her/keeping up the communication has done wonders. So we'll ping each other randomly throughout the day. Eventually she'll call me during her free moments and we'll banter for hours (it's pretty awesome).

Hahah, the Virgo Moon doesn't help. Leo Sun just wants to invite the person out on a date and make them laugh. Leo Sun also wants to come across as creative or dynamic, but never dull. So a typical Leo text is, "I was thinking about you and want to see you" or "There's a thing happening, you should come with!" as opposed to "Hey" or "What's up?". The Virgo Moon (until I get to know a woman), worries about over-texting and whether or not my humor is being received well on the other end.

Oh Lord. That was him exactly! Now that I come to think of it, he'd only chit chat to then ask to see me!
I'm so happy to hear a successful Leo/Aqua relationship. I hope it does work out for you. The thing about me and my Leo is that there's so much history in one year. It's been really hard. Constant push and pull thing. The last time we got into a row was 7 months ago and we stopped talking because he pushed me away. I confessed part of my feelings and went NC. Reached out and then he pulled me back in. Then I doubted and then he pushed again. Then he reached out again and then I pulled him back in. Now In December things started going back down hill after things were going great. We got into it about a month ago. He said hurtful things, I told him another part of my feelings again. Then went NC for almost 3 weeks. Last week is when I finally laid out almost 100% of my true feelings. I just didn't want to move on without letting him know what he truly meant to me.
I know it took me a while to express myself, but I did tell him that it's not easy for me to open up... especially since he's hurt me before in the past and he hasn't really expressed himself about his 'true' feelings. I was prepping to finally confess my feelings in December, but that's when he began to pull away again. That's when we had an argument. It just sucks to have loved someone so much and walk away with a broken heart. I love my lion.
😢 Anyway, thanks for 'listening' to my rant. I do hope the best for you and your Aqua. Believe that we're not as bad as we come out. We really do love and we love hard. But no one else touches our hearts like a Leo. They will always hold a special place.
If you don't mind me asking, what caused the fighting between you? Was it communication based or something larger?
Things are still "early" for me and Aqua Lady. I've known her for almost a year and we started dating in November. We have a SCARY amount of things in common. She even has some of the same weird quirks that I do, so it's really easy for us to understand each other. We both like to stubbornly rant about random things, but in a comedic way. It's almost like I created her in a computer or something. So I'd really hate to mess it up by fighting with her (fingers crossed, no arguments yet). She's a Libra Moon and my Venus is in Libra so she punches my buttons in a good way.
