Haha, so far things are going okay over here. The only folks my ancestors need to answer to is the Native Americans because they were on the Texas side when the lines were officially drawn when the US annexed Texas. 🤷🏻♂️
I enjoy having 3 cultures: I tell people I'm Texan first, US citizen second, and Mexican-American third.

The only useful heritage information I can think of at the moment is a) avoiding close relations when having children for medical issues, and b) learning about your ancestry for same medical issues that may affect you now/later in life.
