I don't mean to be too suspicious or take sides with CC without knowing all the information but this thread just feels like it was created for the sole person of hating on her. The reverse psychology is strong on this place. Whatever you state in the OP of a thread people are two times more likely to oppose it just for the thrill of being the devil's advocate.

And with this algorithm considered, when you bring this type of positive affirmation and attention to a highly polarizing and controversial user, it's pretty clear how people would react.
