But the dxp population will say bad idea

Could be a bad idea, I read somewhere a large percentage of these relationships end up in marriage, the numbers vary between 11% -33% .

But to answer the OP's question, it stayed on the down low for a little while, then one day we went to a company event and she instinctively rested her hand on my leg near my crotch and someone noticed. If your intent is to keep it on the down low, dont go to company things together and sort of avoid each other during those type of things, and no alcohol at these events.

Small company, less than 10 employees. Only company outing is at Christmas which I'm yet to experience and that's way down the road.

This man has left his key in my desk for weeks and I haven't taken it, just sits there.

We try to avoid each other all day. Impossible, so I now avoid eye contact.

I always thought that mixing work with pleasure was a bad idea.

It generally is. It depends on the end game and the people involved. If you are going to break up, then more than 2/3 of the time it will be bad.

The akwarness after the breakup and having to continue working together would make it very uncomfortable.

It is impossible to hide. You will either be making googly eyes at each other because you are in lust or acting snippy because someone said the wrong thing.

There is a couple at work that tried hiding it. We all know months before they admitted it. Everyone dreads working with them. Separate they are fine, but together is a nightmare.

Yep. My situation ended up being fine, but that's because both of us knew how to act professionally. Pretty sure this works best when both people have an earth Mars or a detached Mars placement.

What happened with yours?

I need to find out his mars, but I'm am aries mars. Pretty sure he is a Gemini mars.

Complete silence and private. We've talked about it. No words, actions or anything. Plus, we are in a small organization. Like 10 people when busy, 5 when not. It's fun to hold back.

Well it took me a while to become comfortable with the idea of dating someone from work. I usually keep my personal and professional relationships separate. After a few months, I asked her out. We went out for a few months and went on an adventure or two. Then she started backing off, so I did too.

Eventually I got annoyed with the hot/cold routine and asked her what was up (a mistake I realized I made in the moment). She decided she wanted to be friends for the time being while she "sorted herself out". I told her that wasn't possible, but to let me know if she changed her mind. I also stated that we could work together, but our interactions would be drastically reduced.

I maintained some contact for work purposes and I went on with my life. She's made contact since then and hints that she still cares about me, so we'll see. I left the door open if she decides to come back, but I'm not putting my life on pause.
