I was looking for the Validation Forum to post this but I couldn't find it. Guess I just have to post this here.

Dear Diary,

Today, I am feeling much better than the past few days. I'm still in the middle of review. I have lots of backlog, which I don't know how to finish. I'm a bit scared because people expect a lot from me (I was a Dean's Lister for two sems and I often get the highest scores in exams in law school). I was confident I can make it but, today, I am not sure if I'll be able to finish everything up... so I'm a bit worried. Whatever happens, I don't like my present predicament. I still have so many pages to read. I don't even know how to continue reviewing. Whenever I see lawyers, the more I feel nervous. @_@

At the start of the review, I was aiming to top the Bar. But now that I'm nearly on my third month, the hopes of successfully notching a place in the top 10 gets dimmer. Right now, I am just aiming to pass the exams.

Why do I have so many backlogs now? For about 4 nights since June 16, I wasn't able to sleep. I couldn't study well if I don't get enough sleep. This is worrisome. I am scared that I might flunk. I am still hoping though. I want to become a lawyer next year. I hope God will grant me my wish... so I can finally enjoy the remaining years of my youth. I am also planning to buy a DSLR (I love taking photos!) and a bicycle (I love biking!). These things I promise to myself to buy if in case I pass the bar.

Dear Diary,

Finally, my sleep has come back to normal. I was able to sleep 8 hours a night for 3 consecutive nights. I hope it stays this way or better. I need to hurdle the bar exams successfully on November.

I miss my hometown. It's a beautiful place with lots of scenic sights. That's why I want to buy myself a DSLR so I can take pictures. I also miss my family, my mom, my dad, and our pets: Ands, Shishio (another persian cat), Gringo (a shih tzu), Pippa (a maltese), Tommen (a cockatoo) and Coco (a dog). 😢

I wasn't able to study yesterday. Sigh. We went to see "Minions." It was fun. I don't have any regret whatsoever but I wish I have more time to study though. I'm catching up again. Sigh...

I'm supposed to be studying now, but I'm distracting myself with DXP. I know that I am only delaying the inevitable, so why do I always do it only to regret it later when it's crunch time and wish I had more time? Sometimes, I think I'm mentally challenged.

Seriously, dude, don't take the law in your own hands. You can file a case. Is the deposit worth more than 100,000 pesos? You can blackmail him though that you'd sue him.

Hey, Firebunny! For the summer, I'm just taking two courses due to the condensed schedule. I'm taking an honors philosophy, ethics class. And I'm also taking a math course. Come fall, I've got more math and more chemistry to look forward to in addition to either Spanish or technical writing. I can't wait to begin biology, though...

Dear Diary,

So my backlogs just blew up over this week. I somehow secretly blame my newfound friends. They keep on inviting me to lunch or dinner and ask me to watch TV at my room. So much time has been wasted!!! Now I wonder how I'd be able to catch up and how I can say NO to them next time. I hope tomorrow, I won't ever see them so I can focus on my studies. @_@

It's 2:30 am now here in Legazpi, Philippines. I just want to write to you today to express myself before I go to bed.

1. I was supposed to have a date in the afternoon with a pretty girl. We were supposed to watch a movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. I went ahead coz she told me that she's going to be late. I watched the entire movie until its very last second without her around. She didn't show up. I texted her, I'm going to eat lunch with or without you. I finished eating my lunch and still she's not around so I went home. I texted her, "You have such horrible time management skills." Of course, I was disappointed. I wanted to meet her up. I miss her. It's been a long time since we last dated but she never came.

She texted me and called me and said SORRY. She asked me where I am at that time. I told her, I'm heading to the gym. I still met her. I was ready to forgive her. We went to McDonald's to talk things through. She said she had an emergency meeting with some Undersecretary of President Duterte. Being a newly-minted lawyer, I knew right off the bat that the meeting was for some useless crap.

I told her, even if you do these things, you're not using the proper channels and you're actually encroaching upon the powers of the Congress. I told her, that's unconstitutional. She's pretty smart so she understood what I meant. I was supposed to work out and I only had two hours left so we bade ourselves good bye. I was of course disappointed again because I wanted to stay with her longer. But she had to go since she's leaving for Manila. She also told me that she's now working in Manila. And now, how are we going to meet up again soon? Long distance relationship? That's sad. Last night, I had a hard time going to sleep coz all I had in mind was her but was short-changed this afternoon coz all I had with her was some twenty minutes or so of some useless crap of conversation we could've used for some more useful purpose. But it has to stop and end. And now, she just left for Manila.
