These are the questions I have:
1) do you have children
2) how do you spend your money
3) Are you a student
I ask these questions because 1) you can start a secondary job to pay off your debt 2) Eat more at home 3) Don't go shopping as much 3) Transfer balances to 0% interest cards
and do the snowball thing or pay the higher interest cards first...then attack the others...

Posted by nikkistarYes that's why I charged my car so high. I didn't realize this. Makes sense now.Posted by Stensco21Yes, that is why. That's what most people don't realize about most credit cards.
No I don't have anything I could use for collateral and don't want to bother someone to be a co-signer..
Also is my credit card minimum payment increasing because the change in recent interest rates lately? It's increasing 10-15 dollars a month.click to expand

Posted by cheekyfaeriePosted by Stensco21As soon as you can tho, a balance transfer to a 0 APR for 15mths or so will give you time to chip it down and keep rolling it over again.Posted by cheekyfaerieI knowPosted by Stensco21Ew. My suggestions to you are:
1) sign up with Credit Karma. Totally free and they will give you the tools you need to slowly improve, on a daily basis, things that will ultimately improve your credit score. They'll even give you your odds of being accepted for certain cards, without your credit having to take a hit and then get denied anyway.
2) Digit. It's a savings account that sneakily takes out a little here and a little there, going off of your spending habits. You can set it so it won't make a deduction if your account falls below a certain amount. You can deposit more savings into it or transfer back into checking at any time.
Last year, with Digit, I managed to painlessly save $ 550 in less than 3mths. Can't tell you what a blessing that was when an unexpected "act of god" popped up not 2wks before my vacation!
