DXP Awards 2018

I thought this year's awards ceremony would be so much better than those of the past three years. It is still such a bummer. As a Virgo, I am really interested to know how the votes went down - how many each of the nominees got. The past four years of DXP Awards have none of these. We don't know the breakdown - we just don't know much. The names of the nominees weren't even divulged. Nada. Only the winners. We can't really gauge if the counting was done correctly and there is no way knowing - or at least estimating - whether the counting of the votes were rigged.

Anyway, next year's awards will be hosted by Ands. I hope he considers my opinion.

And how the hell elle tied up with nikkistar for best scorpio female? I don't get it. Something's fishy. No offense to Elle but many of Nikki's posts and threads were so epic they could be considered DXP classics in no time. Elle has never posted anything substantial even in years she was active here. I don't even remember any of her posts.

No DXP King and Queen - these awards should be staple. I feel like their absence was deliberate - so that Ands won't win again.

I also share hydorah's sentiment - no best category anymore. Many of the winners have not been posting in a long time - these categories are no longer current. In 2013, there were just best awards - forcing the winners to be strictly deserving of the titles.

So sick of people complaining about what was or wasnt in the awards, fuckers didn't vote or they DID vote. DXP folks picked the 42 catagories to be voted upon out of the 242 catagories nominated lol

Also the votes where in an open thread, how can there be shady stuff? Damnata already said once results get posted she was going to leave the other thread up. It's completely transparent.

if two or three people tied its because the same number of people voted for them. Should she be biased and put one before the other? Just lol

i swear sometimes people just want to complain to complain and yes i get it i'm complaining about the complainers, but jesus christ, give it a rest.

I'm sure most people like this year's DXP Awards but I'm also sure that more people would like it if the names of the nominees and the number of votes were also divulged. It is somehow a shocker too - when you see someone winning on a landslide compared to the others or two people were actually neck and neck before the votes were totally counted.

Of course, those are another set of reasons.

For those who do not have time to tally all the votes, a disclosure as to the total votes would help clear up doubts as to the accuracy of the counting. Just sayin'.

They was no nomination of people, it went categories being nominated, to sliming down from 240+, to people being voted on, no nominating folks to get voted, just straight votes for those specific categories. Perhaps that's hard for you to grasp or something?

The vote thread itself was completely in the open. just lol @ you trying to say it was shady, I get it, perhaps you are butt hurt because more folks wanted Nata to do it than you.

Actually never mind. If you care about it so much and that's what you enjoy about dxp keep trying for it.

I always try to avoid getting voted. A few weeks before these stupid things I try as hard as I can to be an asshole to everyone. In my eyes getting everyone's vote is embarrassing, and means I'm trying too hard for everyone else. It means im a part of someone else's system. Being a solo entity is what makes me enjoy dxpnet.

As a Libra Mercury, I'm pro-truth. I don't think it's possible for elle to win and tie it with you. My Leo Moon wants to express this thought, especially since elle is an Aries Moon. Not that there's a competition between the two moon signs but then again... I just don't think it's possible.

imo this was the best awards ever. no drama, no personal info, while it's fun watching people fight over stupid stuff it usually goes to the point that is really ugly. so congrats virgo for making it chill. (or we all became boring?)
