I am not typically a supporter of war.. and my heart deeply aches in the reality that there are countless innocent victims of it..... but... Good. F*ck this ISIS shit. Fuck them, Fuck that.

I observed three military duel rotor copters flying overhead earlier.. in an area about 400 miles from the nearest air force base.. That was a wtf moment. Quick Googling said they typically carry supplies, weapons, or troops.. This was an hour prior to the French retaliation and my location was eastern US. Hmm..

An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

- Mohandas Gandhi
Gandhi stole about 99% of his style and mannerisms from Jesus Christ.

He even admitted that later in life.

Here is a quote from the thief:

"The gentle figure of Christ, so patient, so kind, so loving, so full of forgiveness that he taught his followers not to retailate when abused or struck, but to turn the other cheek, I thought it was a beautiful example of the perfect man..."
Well, Christ did encourage us to follow his example - I wouldn't call it stealing. At least I think Gandhi never claimed to be a god, then maybe that could be considered stealing if he did.

But how do we place material value on acts of compassion and selflessness?

Seriously, fuck you guys.

You guys actually think they hit any Isis fighters?

No, what they did is kill innocent Syrian citizens that had nothing to do with the bombings to begin with.

So much for being a civilised nation.

hysteria!

If you are talking to us, then read also our posts.

Read the posts above yourself. They say it was a bad move and the kill of innocent people.

wasn't ghandi dominant Scorpio and cancer?

for some reason, after reading his biography, his personal life sucks badly.

but at least he had good leadership skills and helped people on a wide scale.

people look up to great spiritualists when they are suffering in their personal lives, or can't handle it. it really helps them.

at least he was honest that he idealized Jesus Christ. (he couldnt follow christ in truth but he could emulate, and help his people so that's fine).

Anonymous: We will track you down!

'Hacktivist' group Anonymous has vowed "total war" on Isil following the Paris massacre.

The group promised to “launch the biggest operation ever” against the terrorist group.

“War is declared. Get prepared,” the group said in a video posted online. “The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger.”

CNN also has faces and names of the victims:

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/11/14/world/paris-attack-victims/

One of them was Luis Felipe Zschoche Valle, 33, who was married, had lived in Paris for eight years and was a musician, the Foreign Ministry said.

The Paris-based rock band Captain Americano listed Zschoche as its singer and guitarist. A picture posted on the band's Facebook page showed him on stage during a concert in a captain's uniform, playing guitar and singing into a microphone.

The page was filled with tributes to him.

"Definitely unique and irreplaceable," wrote one.

Also killed were Chileans Patricia San Martin Nunez, 61, and her daughter, Elsa Veronique Delplace, 35. They were niece and grandniece, respectively, of the Chilean ambassador to Mexico, Ricardo Nunez, the Foreign Ministry said.

Well if there actually still is such a thing as civilian life, the choice is between bomb strikes or 1-on-1 with ISIS. I think most would perfer the first option but that's purely speculation. Not like life is an option.. with or without France's involvement

so what are the U.S. and their allies suppose to do?? sit around and sing peace?

honestly people what would you do as a leader— or leaders of your country? And all your people are dying and your living is being threatened? what do you do?
Right?

People on here constantly contradict themselves, they keep blaming other countries for the problems in the Middle East, they shouldn't get involved -- let them deal with their own problems --- but yet... Those same people want other countries to open up their doors to let the refugees from those countries in.

Wouldn't it be better to step in instead of having all those people displaced?

When a surgeon has to operate on a patient to remove fast spreading Cancer or necrotic tissue...sometimes innocent tissue (healthy skin) has to go in order to stop the spread or replication of it....he tries not to but sometimes it has to be done for the greater good.I don't like it...it's sad and has physical and psychological effects to people. But it has to be done to save what is left....

I don't believe in going to hell...I believe we are living in it now. All of us are just are trying to make it...and no one ever promised a happy, fair, smooth sailing life. Its sad
This. 😢

I'm all about "being the change you wish to see" and I know fire and hate only breed fire and hate.. but what is the world supposed to do? Sit nicely and just keep being surprise attacked forever as they get stronger?

There is a balance in the universe, sadly. It's been hard for me to accept that.

I hate to think of it all like this but I have to...it's the only thing I can compare to.
Religious extremists are malignant cancers of the worst kind...they are sneaky, silent and hiding, surface when their hooks have spread so it's damn near impossible to excise.

The world can be seen as the human body...all connected, anything that happens to one thing effects and has consequences for the rest.

When cancer strikes...if you can, you surgically cut it out...some good stuff has to go along with the bad. Then you go to war ...hitting it aggressively with chemo or radiation. You have to...it doesn't respond to negotiations or bargaining.

Arguing about why it happened, who is to blame for it is futile now....you cannot change the past. You can only hooe to learn from it. The problem is...what are we going to do about it now...the fastest and most aggressive treatment to stop it in its tracks...to save the rest of the organs/body.

No one knows of a better treatment yet. It's not a treatment that people enjoy doing or seeing the horrors of it. It's too late for anything else at this point.

Like I said, I believe we are living in hell. I don't want horrible devastation and death for anyone. It goes against every ounce of my being. My friends and loved ones could be the very victims of the same thing.

But at this point, what do you do? Either do nothing...or go stop it?
that's a really great analogy.

Honestly, I think France will have time to mourn the dead in Syria, right now they wanna hit ISIS so damn hard. Better if Russia got involved in the fight against ISIS knowing that Russia would fuck them up.
You're talking like a typical male who wants to blow shit up. They probably didn't even hit ISIS.

I never mentioned blowing shit up in my statement. I mentioned hitting them in anyway possible, even ground troops. How're you gonna call me typical when there are plenty of women who want to see bombs be dropped?

That wasn't a great move.
One-upmanship is an ugly thing

Fucking idiots

Well what the hell were they supposed to do?
Not drop bombs? I mean families and children are already dying enough, now there are move lives involved?

An eye for an eye is not the answer. Look at America, we are still in war. Sending our military for power and greed.

"When men sitting in the chair are mad and throwing tantrums this happens, millions suffer."
People are NOT Legos and action figures!

Well that's war people die. Not doing anything is going to do exactly that, nothing and there would likely be more attacks. So fuck the passiveness here, because obviously that shit ain't gonna work. Hell if we don't do anything then more French, Americans, or English are going to die.

France totally not fooling around right now. Hollande's speech in front of Parliament is scary to me.

"France will extend state of emergency by three months

Hollande says he will table a bill to extend the state of emergency in France by three months, and said the French constitution must be amended for crisis situations.

The constitution must allow dual citizens to be stripped of their French citizenship and barred from the country if they are a terrorism risk, he said.

Foreigners who present a security risk must be expelled faster, he added."

I don't understand why the US jumped on board immediately with the air strikes and not Russia.

Didn't ISIS *just* take down one of Russia's passenger planes not even two weeks ago?

The US is like that passive aggressive friend putting ideas in your head.....give you ideas.......just to see drama ensue.
The US ultimately wants control. That becomes much harder once Russia's a key player.

If Russia jumped in on this, it's likely strategic and tactical nuclear bombardments would step in. Or they'd start dropping FOABs on major Syrian or Iraqi cities.

The US will never have control over anything anymore. The Bush administration made us into a complete joke. Let Trump in office and it will be even worse.
Not control of the region, per se. It looks better if we assist who we want into power. Control from a military standpoint, I mean. Russia, off the chain, is a blessing and a curse.

I think it's this kind of control:

let it happen
but not that large.

Like big cities are controled : a little crime here and there. but the all the wheels rolls and the system works for the most part.

All these civil wars coincident?

Because Russia will lay waste to everything in its path.

The US will influence the French to "show restraint" to be sure potential allies (i.e. future terror cells able to be exploited for US purposes) aren't wiped out.

Exactly. Russia getting involved is a worst case scenario imo. I imagined it'd be something like an Aqua completely losing their cool.. destroy all the things.

Ok, I'm going to say something potentially unpopular.

We cannot fight this war conventionally. Tanks, bombs, warships, and "boots on the ground" is not going to stop ISIS. Why, it's a guerillar war. They operate mainly through cells and each cell is independent. You can't fight an enemy you can't see and sending in troops only fuels their narrative...plays right into their hands. Even if you drive them out of the Middle East you will have to occupy their country forever and we've seen how this doesn't work.

Bin Laden said the goal is to bleed the U.S. to the point of bankruptcy and that's exactly what's happening. Plus, there are plenty of people who are in ISIS who aren't Arab. They're white, they're black, they're asian etc. This has to be fought in an intelligence level and not with "armies." Because it is a mentality, good luck changing "hearts and minds." I'm not saying nothing should be done but we need to do this a better way.
