With how society is going now there's alot more neurological problems. We don't understand the brain or what the stimuli is that affects it. It's easy to say pull up your bootstraps and get on with it, but it's away more complex then that. I know people who are strong, who were hit by a deep bout of depression. I'm talking about trying to jump off a balcony in Las Vegas while we were vacationing.
My friend was basically unable to walk, talk for almost a year. She's well now , her brain had to rest, and her husband was with her through thick and thin as well as her family....but the triggers were there all along. Alot of stress, a miscarriage, too many responsibilities. Your brain can flip on you dude.
So wouldn't that be even more the reason you shouldn't say to go kill yourself to people? Because you don't know how mentally stable an individual is? Its not really phasing me, but some other posters that come here seek answers to real life problems. Why would you want to say that to anyone? If you've dealt with a lot of stress before , you should be able to put yourself in others shoes. And use tact when speaking with people. You even said your siblings were speaking about that with you. So imagine if you lost a close friend, and somebody made very tactless and insensitive remarks.

Personally, I believe this thread is pointless, except for a place for people to bitch about something they have no intention on rectifying.
I made a thread to point out that a well-liked person has used that phrase ... and nobody cared. I made the thread to get people to look at his posts, to see if he was real, or not.

Not everybody views life the same ... some believe that this isn't even life, rather just an extension of life.
Death from this form doesn't really mean much in the scheme of things ... if the persons perception of life is on a grander scale.
Not everyone puts this much stock in this life form experience ... so to kill your body to free your soul could be considered a good thing.
I don't see a problem with suicide and would easily do it, if I was in a mind to leave this plane of existence.
It has nothing to do with other people and in hurting them .... because I don't like for other people, I live for myself.
Suicide can be a good thing, for some people, if that is what they wish to do for themselves .... so, I'm not on this bandwagon of bitching over a phrase of words.

You're comparing an isolated incident that happened midway thru this thread to a long-standing history; it is more likely that no one knew what you were talking about.

It wasn't only CC who said it. I saw about 4-5 different people say it. Everyone was ganging up on CC. I didn't want this to turn into a CC bashing thread. I wanted to bring attention to the issue and not against individuals. I wanted to address the issue without resorting to personal attacks.
Well after debating and learning I've changed my view on the topic??_.I think if your advised as a parent that your child is a bully and they do not take steps to remediate their child's behaviour then that has to be an actionable offence whether its civil of criminal??_.
Its the parents responsibility to teach compassion, morals, ethics, empathy and kindness at home so we don't have to deal with these things in the first place??_..And yes I guess if you don't show these traits your upbringing is pretty lacking.
Another thing Ive learnt is not to settle for the mediocre or anything less in society and to more forward as a species. cos how can we possibly go forward if we let ourselves drop in social standard??_..
I think all this reflects bad parenting and a bad government??_.and I don't want to settle for a mediocre government or parents that are not giving their kids the best start in life so yeh!

Yeah to be honest it's actually a little encouraging to see the moral side of people. I think I dropped my standards (in real life) a while back and trying to get them back up this year. Not everything in life has to be a joke.
