yes I didn't know this about our elector college but apparently the representative of the states can give their vote to which ever candidate they want ... they can be petition and changed ...I don't know if its ever been done before or if it will work ...but hey! its better than rioting in the streets right? lol 😄 that would be awesome if you could sign it though

Agreed. The last time the electoral college did this was Al Gore and GW Bush. All Gore won the popular vote by 500,000 votes. The electoral college is out dated and not necessary. The general public is far more educated than it used to be.

Judging by Bush's presidency, I am not sure whether I agree with Hamiltons judgement on that one. While mob is a scary beast, in some historical cases, but society change is imminent with the speed of technological advances we are experiencing.

The only problem with this is it will set a very bad precedent. Can you imagine if this happened every single election? They can't go and reverse the results every four years. It is shitting on the entire democratic process and telling roughly half of America that they don't matter.
The best thing that anyone can do is work towards change by volunteering or donating to causes that they believe in.
I do understand what you mean though. It is better than rioting in the streets and much more positive and productive.

I think you would be the perfect person to be a delegate for your district. You have the passion for it. In some areas you are appointed and in others you are voted in. It wouldn't hurt to look into so in 4 years you can be on the front lines, fighting for what you believe in.

that would actually be kind of cool ...I never thought about that before ...it has never crossed my mind ...I'm 28 ...so now each time an election comes around ...I have noticed that the policies and the issues that either candidate pushes for will directly effect our real lives ...things that a couple of years ago ..I would have never thought would impact me like health care, jobs, schools and child care ...its kind of crazy ... maybe you should look into too ...you seem level headed and fair ...and thats all I have ever wanted in a representative ..

People can give up all they want and say that everyone needs to let it go but fuck that, this is the future of our country that's hanging in the balance here. That's when I got the full picture of her evil.

The Electoral College is not a broken system. Without it most of the states might as well just not vote.
This is Democratic party/media propaganda. Is Trump a piece of shit? Yes, but he won fair and square. And Hillary is no better. The super delegates in the primaries are definitely unnecessary as its basically like a double vote but that is the hypocritical Democratic party for ya.

Bernie would have beat Trump as most of the states Hillary won during the primaries were red states that were never going to not vote republican come the election. Bernie beat Hillary in Michigan and Wisconsin during the primaries. Two key states that lead to her loss. DNC must live in their grave now.
