I do think some teens in the 90s had to be pretty darn cynical. I mean always listening to grunge. Yikes.

Cynical because we spent our childhood in the 80s, which was all shiny and positive. Then the wall street crash happened. And the Gulf War. I listened to radio-friendly music in the 80s. Then in the 90s a Belgian friend introduced to me a lot more interesting genres that went mostly unnoticed in the 80s.

The 90s music is liberating for me. I like grunge, post grunge and other alternative rock genres. I listen to it like I'm lying my head on a pillow. 🙂

Selective memory is bliss, all that I want to remember of the 90s is that carefree, classy dressed, peak hair era overlapping the 80s and 90s. I don't care for the rest.

That was a guilty pleasure of mine in my 20's. Watched the whole series, but didn't tel anyone, lol. My high school environment was very similar, so it was fun to watch.

Both of them have aged, definitely. Luke Perry just looks OLD to me.

Steve Sanders was the best anyway
