The weird thing is ..he used only one gun....but brought many..

He obviously didn't feel he had anything to lose and was suicidal...

His brother said something interesting 'he was the least violent growing up I had much more anger'.

this guy is puzzling, no one knows why he did what he did, he had a good life, lots of money, retired, lady friends. But something turned sideways in his head and now here he are. anyways...

Paddock, born 4/9/1953, lived in a three-year-old, 396,000 dollar (£297,554) two-bedroom home in Nevada, US records show.

According to his brother Eric: "he's just a guy who played video poker and took cruises and ate burritos at Taco Bell."

Stephen was described by officials as a "local man" who apparently acted alone.

He is thought to have been a grandad.

He previously worked as an accountant but was also an avid real estate investor.

He owned apartments and houses around Orlando, Florida.

His brother Eric said: ""My brother is not like you and me. He plays high-stakes video poker.

"He sends me a text that says he won $ 250,000 at the casino."

However, there was no hint he owed anyone money as his brother even showed authorities three years of text messages today.

until we find more info, this is the weirdest massacre yet. and oh yeah ISIS falsely claimed it ASAP.

Him and his father were mentally ill.

Money doesn't always fix illness

Police say there is no evidence of mental illness or insanity. He knew what he was doing.

I heard otherwise

I also heard he was gambling away his riches

That's interesting ...maybe he felt out of control with a gambling issue

So, did you actually read any of the news before you wrote this?

Yes. But as to how accurate it was I can't say. There are many different reports coming out.

I have not read a single report that even said he only used one gun. So, I am not sure where you are reading this, but there has been no news outlets here in the US that have ever said one gun. Considering that it lasted over 5 minutes and closer to 10, that would be a very ignorant news outlet to report only one gun.

It's just the sick part of my brain analyzing it..

And sorry ...i am shallowly interested in a pyscho...who isn't?

So, that means spreading misinformation is OK to you?

Serious question.

Are you getting serious info on an astrology forum?

You can NOT take my question seriously (that is understood, since I cannot control how you perceive things)

But yes,I am asking a serious question (from my perspective).

But we are digressing from the point of my question. Are you OK with spreading misinformation? (even on a joke site like dxpnet).

In all seriousness I kind of expect it. SO i guess i have just come to expect it

If you are posing as a legitimate source for news no..but it happens and often deliberately. On an astrology forum fire away...I expect different levels of truth from different sources.

I'm sickened how the news is constantly saying "this was not a terrorist attack". Bullshit.

Just cause the shooter doesn't fit your rhetoric of brown skin does not mean this wasn't terroism. Uggghhh 😩😩😩

Agreed ...but a different kind of terrorism perhaps

He has no guerilla vision which we can dilute or neutralize and certainly no supporters.

Guerilla warfare's key tactic is local support if they feel they don't have it they become afraid. So locals condemn and get aggressive media campaigns support alternative or matching visions.

What was he afraid of and what was his vision?

My advice to Americans is to make clear all Americans think this man is disgusting and as a tribe he is your enemy and not one of you. It will dissuade a forming vision built on anger or apathy.

Also that you are garnering support from the hotel industry in preempting this.

Calling a dead man disgusting isn't going to change what happened or keep it from happening again. Nice try Bambi.

Yes it will.

No. It. Won't.

Destroying a dead mans name does NOTHING for the people who've lost loved ones. Mass shootings are everyday news here, won't change that either.

But condemnation and stigmatizing him from local support among gun people will actually make people feel they need to watch collectively what is going on in their community.

What people though? Who are these 'people'.

If your someone who decides to open automatic fire on a crowd you dgaf about local opinion. Duh.

For handguns silencers should be a no no

There is a logic behind silencers for semi automatics and rifles ...as they are still loud as anything and are there to protect the hearing of the gunman. As with repeated use they go deaf. It's actually a huge problem in the armed forces. Deafness.

But whether you should have those type of guns in the public domain is another thing. I think Americans need to decide whether they are really willing to take on the gun industry.

If your someone who decides to open automatic fire on a crowd you dgaf about local opinion. Duh.

Ammonium nitrate facilitators. Gun stores ...neighbours. My country successfully destroyed a guerilla domestic terrorist problem that went on for years...and yes some of that was lone wolf crazy people just going nuts... Propaganda and psychology of people on the ground does play a part even for lone wolfs.

Nobody gaf about Ireland dude. I direct your attention to the thread title. Please remind your confused ass where you are.

I am in Ireland.

I am just saying that you can train people on the ground in counter terrorism tactics in specialized industries. And it does work.

Whatever dude. Say whatever you want. Thread is derailed and dead anyways. I'll leave your crazy ass to it.

It's also important to get politicians involved and the correct rhetoric online to counter ..lets say the negative impact off even stuff like this thread...

You need informants and detectives working the gun industry/clubs and other related industries.

At least let the bodies go cold before you run your mouth.

Actually you are behaving much worse ....you are being bitchy and phony sanctimonious. Your using this event to blow off steam ..it's not nice.

You don't deserve nice behavior from me. Keep on mocking this tragedy.

Everyone deserves nice behavior. And if you are a nice person to people ..you just are.

So would you call your defamation on this thread 'nice behavior'? Cause I call it pretty fucking vile.

Who am I defaming?

Willfully spreading misinformation, mocking this tragedy. Not very nice of you.

That isn't defamation.

Did you not claim to know specifics about how the shooter planned and executed this act of terror? Did you not insinuate his motives?

Once again, gtfoh with the Bambi act.

Are you worried I bad mouthed the killer? I am not bambi I am just bemused by you.

The weird thing is ..he used only one gun....but brought many..

He obviously didn't feel he had anything to lose and was suicidal...

His brother said something interesting 'he was the least violent growing up I had much more anger'.

STOP

you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.

He used mutliple guns. he would unload the magazine, drop it and grabbed another gun. he had 23 guns in that dam room, he used at least 10 of them.

you keep spouting shit you know zero about. just stop saying shit that isnt true.

i live here, this is my town, people i knew attended this festival and almost died. so please just stop.

This is the stupid shit I was talking about in my status on the front page- people who live in other countries acting like they know what's really going on from biased and uninformative news sources.

When this story first broke, there was so much bullshit flying around because news outlets are in a rush to be first, not reporting factual info.

His "roommate" was in Japan.

The police are the ones who shot him.

Blah blah blah. All of which has obviously been disproven since.
