I never understood that blanket business. Have you ever held a blanket over your head while eating? Hard to breathe and uncomfortable.
Poor babies. No respect.
I agree, that is why the women should look for a more private place to feed the baby or carry baby bottles ready.click to expand

Or over sharing

To normalize?
People aren't too private anymore.
Anything goes on social media.

Yeah see and then that same woman will rant about how people over sexualize women's bodies and especially breasts...but they're only feeding their child as nature intended and it shouldn't make anyone uncomfortable...
Thats fine, and I agree...there's nothing wrong with you feeding your child...but why do you feel the need to post pictures of your nipple in the baby's mouth and say "if you don't like it, keep scrolling" ?
But like really why? I'm hoping someone can explain this mindset to me because I find it incredibly tacky
Cuz that person needs maximum attention? Showing nipples in public isn't enough so gotta take a picture to immortalize that moment for all to see as if she's the first woman to breast feed. Better keep scrolling or she might do this to you.

I don't care what you do with your tits, it's just the hate for formula feeding mothers that bothers the fuck out of me.
I could only breastfeed for 4 months and then I couldn't produce anymore so what is a woman supposed to do, let their kid starve over feeding formula?
It's just another way to one up another and it's sick.

Rockingham is the bogan capital of Australia. I honestly didn't expect anything less. Rampant with white trash single moms on welfare and their 3 illegitimate children and multiple baby dads.

I had the SAME thing happen with someone. I called her out on it because I did not understand the whole point. I got the exact same response as well. It's one thing to generally breastfeed because it's necessity. You taking a picture of it and posting it on social media is not necessity. It's you attention whoring and making yourself feel extra special because look, you're nurturing life!!
Good for you. You are no the first person in history to feed a child with your boob and you really do not need to post it online for all to see. It's going beyond need and you're turning it into exhibitionism.click to expand

It's great you breastfeed your child...but do you really need to post pictures of your nipple in your child's mouth on facebook?
I mean seriously.....taking a shit is natural too...yet you don't really see people posting pictures of themselves cutting one.
Anyone else know one a proud breastfeeder? Does it not totally annoy you? Am I being a bitch?
I can understand your beef if the mom's are posting pics every day with a running dialogue over time but one or two artistic pics is ok.
What the hell is with your comparison though?

Ok lets get down to the bottom this.......I feel fucking disgusted when people give women shit for breast feeding in public I've seen videos of women being victimized because they are using their tits for what they are intended for in public and it hurts lol I felt like crying because society says you shouldn't but its supposed to be perfectly normal.....In advertising we have all sorts of tits thrust into our faces everyday and no one gives a fuck!!! aren't you disgusted with advertising?? its everwhere and its manipulating you and your children in the most coldest soul crushing way.....So when you see a picture of a woman on your facebook breast feeding her baby know that shes doing it as a protest on her own public wall....She may be told off or flagged but at least she wont be humiliated publically in front of strangers......So next time u see a picture of a woman posting stuff like that then get the fuck behind her and support her and break this whole fucking shit thing that girls do which is conform to what men want them to be which is fun bags with fuck holes.......seriously I get so frustrated with people getting fired up over the wrong things...
I really need to get down to the bottom of this....
WHY?!? Why is it SUUUCH a big issue to see a woman breast feeding her baby?.....I seriously need to know this, I was brought up in a nudist household, I still see my parents naked so its normal for me to see a tit, dick, ass I know people are brought up in conservative households....is that it?? you're conservative?

I love photos of mothers with their babies. I absolutely LOVE them. I see plenty of bordering-on-pornographic-if-not-downright-pornographic photos of women with low cut tops strategically squishing and angling them at the camera while giving duck face, or people posting pictures of them drinking glasses of another animal's milk. ENOUGH! I'd rather see the happy new mom doing one of the most natural thing in the world. Personally, I would take daily pictures of my growing pregnant belly, pictures of me breast feeding my baby, or my hubby showering my baby, etc, but is keep all of them private (with exception to showing some of them to my immediate family.) I don't like the idea of people looking at my baby, hubby, or happiness. I feel too protective.

There's nothing wrong with breast feeding in public.
Just taking selfies needs to stop already.
It is necessary to feed in public at times, if a baby is hungry, that comes first, anyone that has an issue with it .. tough. I sat in my car once feeding my baby and got a dirty look from a woman, so wound the window down and said to her *what is your problem*? She looked mortified, there is still an element of people that find breast feeding wrong—
Selfies are a curse, there should be a law against
the inane vanity that goes with them..off with their selfie heads 😛

Something that hasn't to be considered offensive for me to know want to know about it.
People post food pictures on IG all the time. I don't want to know about that stuff. It it gets too much I unfollow them. Even though food is an essential part of life.
Overshare is overshare, it doesn't have to be extreme to want to avoid it.

I wouldn't mind seeing some nipples.

id like to give people the benefit of the doubt and not assume that they conceived a child for the sole purpose of using them as a prop to whore themselves for attention on social media.
Posted by starloverPosted by Twodrinkminimum
This is so retarded im sorry. Women thinking other women breast feeding or taking pictures of it is attention whoring.
This is honestly some shit I never gave any thought about. And other women having an issue with it is so petty to me.
Pictures of giving birth...okay. That's personal. But breast feeding a child is just that. Feeding the child.
Yes weird isnt it? I have pics of me feeding my baby and although i never shared them, i am delighted to see other womens' pics
Maybe it is either jealousy or some strange sexual repression?

Venus, we are so lucky to have been able to do this for our kids...i fed my son for a year too and felt it made him very strong.
Aaaaahh the people who look, i had that too.....once a woman was staring at me and i says to her *do you want a picture* 😛...people can be so odd at times.
Amen to breastfeeding is so beautiful....it sure is, amazing and so natura
I saw an ad on tv of an adorable baby being bathed. I want to post it here for you but felt it may make you feel very broody haha......dare I??
🙂
There is nothing wrong with people sharing pics of breastfeeding...i wonder if the same people who object to it, would do the same for women flaunting breasts in other ways....i somehow doubt it. People....that is what they are for.....feeding our babies!!!

Baby Fever is a real thing, right? Because I have the strong urge to hold one right now. I am very sensitive about touching other people's babies and often refrain and just admire from afar. A couple of months ago, my co-worker let me hold her baby, and I just stood there cradling her in my arms and staring into her eyes. It's like the entire world stopped, and she wasn't even mine. I believe babies can see through people's souls.
