I think you would be suprise how much kids can understand. I was 6 when I found my dad's porn movies on VHS and I knew exactly what they do in that movies. No one ever molested me of course, but since young age of my life I was very aware of what's going on around me.click to expand
Completely agree with you here. My boys are 10, are not exposed to it at home, but have told me how one of their friends have seen porn video's. Im just thankful that they still come to me and talk to me about these things. Its important to have a relationship with our children where they feel safe to talk to us about things like this.

I remember my childhood friends dad never wore underwear and my friend and I were sitting on the living room floor playing with barbies and her dad was sitting in his recliner with shorts on and his legs spread and I saw one hairy ass ball sack and it was disgusting. I think that part of it comes from resignation and thought that they won't make difference, but it's never to late to make a difference. People also shouldn't be afraid to say out loud that something isn't right.
