How do you forget that?

I dont buy it.

I can see maybe maybe 1 baby cause the car seat can be behind the driver seat.

But 2 whole ass babies??

Sounds fishy

Babies are so quiet when they sleep and he always had the car seats in the car, they were rear facing on top of that, which means he couldn't see them in there. If this wasn't his normal routine of dropping them off, then he would've easily forgot they were there with how quiet they were.

He was in auto pilot mode of just going to work.

Tired parents often roll over in bed and smother their infants to death. Accidents happen.

But I'm with CC. All this new tech should be applied to save lives.

you can't be sleeping with your child in bed, that' also happen way too often

Easier said then done tho. You go through 48 hours of labor no sleep and then spend the next months getting 30minute naps, tops 2 hours of sleep per day. No rem cycle, you start going a little cray. My sister fell asleep on the toilet trying to poo and then heard the baby crying which woke her up. Your body can only take so much.

I doubt anyone intentionally falls asleep in the bed with their infant, but your body isn't your own when exhaustion is present.

If he was in his normal routine of not dropping the kids off at all, he would go about his work day. This isn't the first time in history that this type of thing has happened. People tend to follow routine, he drove two blocks after work before even remembering he had the kids in the car in the first place. He could've even thought about picking them up, which made him realize he never even dropped them off. Anything is possible when stuff gets out of routine.

But him leaving them in the car is a clear indication that he wasn't the parent that usually drops them off.

I put dogs in the back seat, and they are ALWAYS on my mind when I go somewhere. Dogs...

I used to feed my cat on autopilot to the point where I never remembered and I'd have to look at evidence for clues so I didn't feed her twice. But a year later when I got another cat, feeding two.. you can't really autopilot that because you have to make sure you do it twice and both are taken care of. And they wont even die! Far from it. In 7 years I have never went on autopilot their feeding. He had to put two children in the car.

I get what you are saying and I have very strong doubt on this one.

I've been dead tired many times in my life. I've worked 24 hour days, 4 days at a time.

I guess some people handle responsibility better than others.

I had a massive paragraph or two written earlier, but it wouldn't matter, people already made up their minds one way or the other. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No ones knows what actually happened. Anything is possible. He and his family have to live with what happened though. Plenty of parents kill their kids. They just keep finding more creative ways to do it. Another Dad got prosecuted last year for the same thing, because the police found out it was premeditated.

Th kids are dead and I think the parent should be on the hook for it. Even if he is sorry for doing it. It's a form of child neglect and abuse, whether an accident or not. He's not suffering that much. The babies are gone.

Not this time.

That said, I'm expecting this father to off himself pretty soon.

That will probably depend on if he gets off the hook with it or not. If he gets hard time, then yes I can see that. If he gets a slap on the wrist, he will think about his other kid and be content, in my opinion.

They should all be investigated. I don't think they should be prosecuted if there is ample evidence it was an accident. It won't bring back the baby. It won't save any other babies, because people do this accidentally, so punishing him won't deter. It will just punish a grieving parent who is probably already suicidal. I personally see no justice served in it.

What happened was still against the law. People die in accidents all the time. This father caused accidental deaths.

If someone accidentally ran a loved one of yours off the road and they died, would you be ok with saying it was just an accident and they are suffering enough? Just because he is hurt now and will suffer because of this, he still was the cause of it. It's not like the babies drowned in a pool cause they went outside.

Only time will tell. The only thing the media is presenting is how devastated he is over what happened. This is always the case in all these situations.

Look at parents crying over their kids whereabouts and pretending they were kidnapped, then come to find out the mom drowned and dumped her kids in the lake. But everyone had sympathy when she was bawling her eyes out for the camera.

Raising kids isn't a 4 day gig tho. Its 24/7, 356 days a year.

I'm looking at this as a tragic accident. But they are investigating and I'm sure if they find anything on his cell/internet history thats fishy they will press charges.

The only reason this case is getting media attention is because they are twins I feel. This happens all the time sadly.

The reason why this is getting blown up is because I think people are starting to really pay attention and are becoming outraged that this is still a problem in 2019.

It's a shame that some people who don't have kids treasure them dearly, and those that do - don't even deserve having them, period.

Those people are easy to figure out tho.

1) they change their stories multiple times

2) if white woman, they always say some black man stole their kids

3) Their eyes going to the right when lying on camera....

4) Over-Acting and dramatizing their pain

5) Or being super cold
