When do you predict we’ll be able to take off our masks? 😷

So I’ve seen a little progress here and there with Covid. They’re getting more strict about the vaccines and now also children are getting vaccinated. It still doesn’t mean we’re back to normal. But when do you predict we’ll be able to take our masks off? How much longer?

Probably not for the next few years realistically.

In large gatherings that is and indoor venues where the 6' spacing is not possible.

And honestly we should keep masking up when feeling ill anyways. I know I will! No need to kill someone's grams cause you sneezed in the grocery store.

Idk.. my mom's heart surgery was postponed until January or until they contacted her.. it was a solid month or two and she's finally in for next week.. because there were no ICU beds where she lives due to COVID.. so.. I'm hoping but seems like it comes n goes in waves so.. may take a little while to see idk.

Talking to unvax coworker who said how rude it was when her unvax mother got covid and had bad symptoms the ER told her go home you should have vaccinated. She had to wait for urgent care to get treatment.

Seems like summer is when the new variants come out and corona virus spikes. Winter is when it's dormant and cases get low.

Even though they say fall/winter is gonna be worse in the news- doesn't seem the case, IMO

Wasnt this the point of the vaccines? Or part of it?

Hopefully it's normalized now where if you want to, you can. I don't miss fake smiling.

Late spring. We have effectively geared up and adapted in the U.S. So many options for treatment and prevention now.

Btw masking up last winter dramatically reduced the usual cold and flu transmissions. Yes social distancing is a large factor too, however masks kept things contained for sure. Pharmacy retail earnings dropped last year from lack of cold and flu over counter meds being sold. Keep in mind covid didn't effect there sales in any other areas. Actually increased in earnings. And, Rite Aid acknowledged their earnings drop to cold and flu.

Why does any of this matter? A lot of us wore masks not out of fear for ourselves but consideration of our vulnerable and loved ones. Imagine if someone was feeling sick, they would actually put on a mask for a few days.

So what's actually stopping us from continuing this this practice?

I don't know, but in my country, lots of people don't wear it on the streets, but I do because I'm immunocompromised so I can't risk it. We're still encouraged to wear it in supermarkets and shops though.

I think I'll always wear it in public, except on hiking trails in nature because I love breathing in fresh air from nature directly!

Have you seen the amount of splatters that splurt out when someone coughs, sneezes, talks loudly, laughs? So.. much.. saliva.. and if they're ill and talking directly towards your unmasked face? Good luck. You can look up videos of the amount of splatters that come out too.

I burned all of mine after being vaccinated.

Just been an Irish wedding. 300 people. No masks and I am NOT wearing shit and I am not succumbing to this bullshit!

There is NO fucking Covid! But its my opinion...and I am never wrong. And Scorpios DO get divorced...
