ok that just sent me on jupiter in gemini moment. so i read what the cat wrote and thought...

"penis" would be an AWESOME last name! so i said "myname penis," "myname penis," "myname penis" aloud and it didn't sound as good as i thought it would. but i didn't stop there.

so then i was like, maybe it would sound better with a guy's name? richard! white folks shorten richard to "dick." why is that? so i was like cool, Richard "Dick" Penis.

and then i was like, i wonder if "penis" is a real last name? so i googled "richard penis." unfortunately, the first page of results did not yield what i'd hoped for but i did get this little gem...

I'm more or less a loner. That doesn't mean I don't like people, I just try not to get caught up in the "you can only talk to this group of people but not THOSE group of people." I talk to who I want to talk to, and I DON'T talk to anybody I don't WANT to talk to. I don't give a f@ck who they are, nor how "popular" they are. Period.

The same for me. All the way from childhood up on to..ohhh let's see...NOW. I like who I like and that is the end of it. If someone doesn't care for my choice then they can *making rude finger gesture*. I never listened in any regard. I likes who I likes.

I'm like Eminem "The Way I Am." I know a lot of people think he's abrasive (he is), and that he's foul (he is), but I really get him and in a sense I understand why he thinks the way he does. People get caught up in trying to be Politically Correct, and saying the "right thing" in the grander scheme of things, who cares!

Em is NOT for the faint of heart. He's obviously a bit disturbed, but I think a lot of us are. He just embraces it and makes it work for him. The good, the bad and the ugly. That's what I respect about him, no matter how crazy and abrasive he is!

on the subject of cliques and e-cliques
it's natural human behavior to want to identify with a group or a sub sect of a group-at-large.

very few people are able to maintain their individuality and autonomy in organized society. typically those that are able to separate themselves from the herd do so inadvertently. the irony is that unless the isolation is self imposed (hermit) or medically mandated (asylum), true individuals-at-large will not go unnoticed.

^in some cases, whether these people tend to or not, they gather a flock. it's sorta like that scene from the movie forrest gump. sometimes a leader isn't intending to be so. sometimes they're just being themselves and for one reason or another, others follow. the key is, "being themselves."

we'll call this personality type "o."




at other times, there is a concerted effort to be supreme. take leader of the branch davidians, david koresh, for example.

having been raised seventh-day, i think koresh felt different from christianity-at-large and this may have inspired him to delve deeper into the meanings of the bible.

koresh's desire to love and learn God on a more intrinsic level was genuine initially. he simply wanted to get "closer to god" and whether you're christian or not, deeping one's spirituality is never truly a bad thing. his quest for understanding was eventually rewarded and koresh was praised for his insight, fervor and unique perspective.

the problem is, he eventually allowed the love of the group to corrupt his individuality and as a result, began to believe in his own divinity.

we'll call this personality type "x."

when x's and o's come together, there's often a clash. the x's regard the o's as a threat.

the x's like their "power" after all and when they begin to see that the "o" has occupied a territory they'd previously claimed, the x's will fight back.

in the end, "winning" is a matter of perspective for how can o win/lose if it's not playing a game?

whether it's real life or e-life, this dynamic plays it self out over and over and i wonder, why would anyone want to be an x? and yet, this site has quite a few x's and very few o's.

the x's are generally hated for all the right reasons but few will say it publicly. the o's are loathed for all the wrong ones and "everyone" will say it.

so the o's have a tough time in (e)society. people respect them for being themselves but shat on them for...well, being themselves.

the x's on the other hand are often praised and supported in public. where they may engage in outrageous behavior, the group-at-large tends to excuse it publicly while shaking their heads privately. why is that? maybe it's because the x's are sheep in wolve's clothing? the poor flock 😛



group dynamics has always interested in me. at the end of the day, i'm proud to be an "o" and wouldn't have it any other way.

i wanted to write that into an article but i haven't figured out how to formulate it yet. you all are welcome to read my brain fart. i added pictures! people only read on the internet when there are pictures...
