Who decides if a woman has daddy issues? With the exception of him being absent or emotionally unavailable.

A person can have outbursts when they aren't getting their way if daddy spoiled her. @Kodak

That's a daddy issue. just an inadvertent issue at hand.

eh as long as they have taken steps to not be so 'damaged' and are happy and can bring something to the table.. i am a-okay with it.

Now, if they are beyond fucked up and beyond repair.... no thank you. i had to deal with my shit, you better deal with yours.

lol

Are they damaged?

Discuss.....

Show me the person on this planet who isn't damaged. He/she doesn't exist.

Whether the cause is 'daddy' or 'mommy' is just schematics and inconsequential.

No one is perfect but I wouldn't say everyone is "damaged" that's a bit of a stretch.

Not perfect. Not pristine. Not whole.

Damaged.

Wrong. Some people go through issues and come out better not worse. Therefore I wouldn't consider them "damaged" it has more to do with a person's perseverance, strength and surroundings. I consider damaged as ruined or destroyed for life.

You assign negative meaning to the word. I don't.

I'd rather be tried and tested, transformed by the fire than be naive and whole.

Life is about hardship. Makes the joy that much more meaningful.

I'm not assigning ish that word is no where near positive. Just because you're digging for positivity in it does not mean it is.

I know people who have lost parents, limbs, jobs, homes but kept on pushing. It actually made them stronger. They are happy, successful, full of life and are examples to other people. So I would hardly consider them damaged. Their life was not perfect but they overcame it without the need to commit crimes, hurt people or become self destructive.

And I don't think anyone is "naive and whole" that means they would be perfect which is going against everything you wasted time typing up.

You seem upset even, dare I say it, damaged by my opinion.

I've heard it said that everyone's parents screw them up.

I agree. Your parents try to do what their parents didn't do.. and then you try to do what your parents didn't do.. we all miss out on different parenting style s. There is so many. One family might be really education appreciative but miss out on the spiritual warm stuff. Or one family might focus on that too much, leaving the kids with no motivation or want for goals. So many different ways your parents can mess you up

Now you are a damaged psychic because you don't have a valid point. You and your opinion are both weak. ??

If I'm psychic wouldn't that make my opinion strong, my point valid?

I think you mean psycho. All that processed cheese is not good brain food. Lay off the hot pockets, get some greenery in your diet.

I hear every third generation in a family is the most likely to squander all the family's wealth.

First generation comes from nothing and makes their fortune. Teaches the second generation to work hard and excercises tough love.

The second generation, vowing to be different from their parents, gives their children every advantage without expectation. Third generation, having had a silver spoon their whole life, thinks only for themselves and for the now. They squander said wealth.

Cycle repeats. Checks out.

it's the new "my girlfriend is crazy" for effeminate men. No they are not "damaged" this is just a convenient thing for a guy to say she has daddy issues so he doesn't have to justify taking advantage of her or quitting her like a bad habit out of the blue without dealing with his mistakes when questioned about.

do you think angry or irresponsible or unemployed people are damaged? divorcees or unmarried people are damaged? no, this is just apprehensive because they got nothing better to blame someone with and this doesn't need a concrete diagnosis I mean just read these symptoms online, there is no can be no human without at least two of these so when a guy finds one he can pin at her when she pisses him off, he says daddy issues.

I get so pissed at this because my Cancerian bestie was once called "daddy issues" by a virgo man who was clearly a fucking moron with no morals or a job! she had a turbulent relationship with her father but wasn't he a psycho to bring this up?

your "daddy issues" girls are not damaged they just need your love and attention just like a man who was hurt in the past if one isn't biased they'd clearly get this.

From what I've seen they tend to fill the void left by their father with men their age. It sets them up for the title of a w.h.o.r.e even if they aren't.

But men can also have daddy issues. These type of men tend to be more femine due to being raised by the mother and grandmother more then the father. It truly takes both parents, but even then no one is promised perfect children.

Can we discuss mommy issues next?
