the more I think about it the more I think it can work if it's used with a lot of caution.
Hosting DXP has some costs and the owner is allowed to recoup some of these or make a small profit, and paying a small fee is a more legit business system than being spammed with ads.
But I see a lot of potential for abuse , especially in the user/user interaction. Offering points to other users is an open door for all kinds of abusive behaviours, I'd prefer if the money system remained between the website and the user, and ot between users.
Also, yeah paypal=shit, DXP should really look for other channels, because I'm not giving any money to paypal, maybe DXP could try selling points through amazon or sthg.
Also: that hotel in iceland looks pretty cool,, who's going with me?

I've tried to log in daily - sometimes several times a day - for the last - what seems like almost 2 months - which did not work so I created a new user name, was thrown out, couldn't get back into the original nor the one created and used for about a week or so, and now I've had to create yet another user account. The site is slow, won't let me load an avi picture and continues to crash and burn ... no refunds for any reason ?

I do realize some people use that tactic.
I've seen some stuff saying the dxpnet points are to give to other members though. So if I give person A some points I bought with cash and they buy a better dxpnet experience, that really doesn't help me any. Imo it's not for that at all. It's dxp somewhat evolving to the next stage, and that is aquiring a twitch/ live stream experience. You pay money to basically feed other members validation. The person who gains the point feels amaing, and the person who gave them the point feels amazing too. Then just add some random things you can buy with the points you earn, and everyone is having fun. Also making new members try to have better connections with people and write better content to earn more points. The best part is dxpnet makes more money.
I'm not sure if that's even how it will work yet, just using the little hints I've seen so far to make a judgment.
See, the reason I hate this concept is because we can’t cash out on the points; it’s just a way to feed validation/ego. I DONT WANT VALIDATION; I WANT MONEY I CAN USE IRL ON CHARITY OR CLOTHES OR FOOD OR SOMETHING. FUUUUUUCK
Swear to god I’m gonna be pissed if someone gives me points. If it’s easy for someone to pay for points through PayPal, it should be just as easy to directly wire me $ 110 on PayPal too. Much more productive and flattering.
