EXACTLY. I attract them like crazy and can empathize with their nature regardless of their selfishness but they SUCK at getting themselves to see others' perspectives and remain stubborn about things being on their terms strictly and one can only give and give so much without receiving not the slightest understanding in return

Oh I know they can be softies when they want but God in general they're so difficult, it takes a very strong and patient person to truly put up with them, esp their stubbornness and know-it-all attitude which can remain extremely fixed until something life altering

An aqua sun or moon?
I used to be very cold and emotionless myself and have aqua placements so I know about that but then my hades moon and all my hard aspects to moon caught up plus my progressed moon is in fucking cancer and so now I'm a big ball of wussy fluff *sobs* I recently discovered whenever I PMS I get super emotional and irrational and start lashing out at him over the stupidest stuff that I otherwise wouldn't and that doesn't work well with an aqua mooner bc they're like WTF why are you so not normal whenever you're not near me. It doesn't make sense to them. It's not mee it's the hormones, but he has high expectations of me to be smarter than that LOL.. and idk how tf you break that down to an aqua mooner because they just can't emphathize they're just poopies

I think earth moons are worse. They don’t want to be bothered with big emotions. I was married to a Taurus moon & to a Cap moon and am now with a Virgo moon 🙄The Virgo moon actually listens the most of the 3, but seriously like they have no clue why I should be upset. I have done better with a cancer moon & a Pisces moon because they get emotions & can handle when the aqua moon emotions are finally released.. ( it’s not pretty btw) and well with the Pisces moon I learned to deal with his emotions even if thought he was being dramatic. Safest ever place to be for my emotions. So miss aqua moon let her emotions fly in that space. He’d just say I love your passion 😂😂😂 well maybe a little sag fire too 😉.

Ouch hahaha. I'm a aqua moon and I can admit I do not like overly emotional situations and will avoid them at all costs, for sure I struggle expressing emotion - definitely not my forté. It might be because I trust no one to see me emotional. I like to live by seeing things through with logic and facts. However I'm an absolute ball of emotion with my partner and it's really, really weird.. but I like it!

Cap moon is an iceberg. I was with him for 20 years and he would absolutely not listen. Anytime I tried to bring anything up, he thought it was an attack on him. Which it wasn’t, but the moment he saw emotions he shut off. I ended up shutting down my emotions for a long time to survive. Taurus moon - ah we were young. But clashed big time and he was too stubborn to listen. Volatile. He said I had BIG emotions.
The Virgo moon will listen upon explanation. Although sometimes his viewpoint is different. But much easier to work through. Of course I have learned how to respond instead of react, so the Virgo moon gets the benefit of that. It’s an actual conversation. Actually I did in the marriage with the Cap moon cuz I worked on myself, still wouldn’t have a conversation.

You know how @queenaries acts all tough & isn’t letting anyone in. This is him. She’s also a Aries sun, cap moon.

Point is they have an empathy clock that resets every Chinese New Year. Once it runs out, your ass has to wait until next groundhogs day for it to start ticking again. Now, it can run out by Valentine's Day if you act a fool. Or you can milk it til Christmas if you play your cards right.
They can give a little bit a lot of times, or a lot only one or two times. But once it's gone, its gone. Until they recharge.

Keep in mind the moon, while significant, is still one placement. The ego/sun is also important. And the Mercury/Mars which shows how they deal with negative aspects of life. My father was a Scorp sun/Cap moon and he absolutely sucked. Never admitted to doing wrong, always blamed everyone else for everything and he was just a toxic piece of shit. He died last October and I had no fucks to give.
On the other hand, my boy is a Leo sun cusper, with Leo Mercury/Venus and Scorp Mars. The fire combined with water makes him more receptive to emotional stimuli. Because fire and water are the elements which bring life into a chart, so he's more energetic and intense in that way. He feels a great deal and he has his Cap moon to take things down a notch or two so he can handle it.
I explain things to him in both a practical and emotional manner. I give him examples of other situations to help him understand better what I'm explaining. Like when he first told me he thinks he's falling in love with me, I laughed because I thought he was kidding. But he was offended and got pissed big time. He stormed right at the door but I stopped him from leaving in the nick of time. He was fuming but he allowed me to explain where that came from. I kept it clear & concise, I didn't digress or anything, just kept it specific and raw and explained fully how it made me feel and why.
In the end I made him cry. So much for iceberg Cap moons. I cried too. We do understand, we just have to make that mental & emotional connection to grasp the full scope.

I have no Idea, what postal abit means. I never attacked Aries, I stated in precise Terms which behavior patterns I dont like.´, thats called criticizing and or venting. Yeah see the allowed you to explain is the part that makes it work. If you are not allowed to, and any sign of emotions brings about a wall, it makes it tough. It would’ve helped to know about astrology then. I would’ve understood more. Maybe found another way. But it’s history. Now it’s more about communicating for the purpose of coparenting. With my current boyfriend, it really works better. I think that it’s important to talk about things calmly. Then he is able to listen. Thank goodness I’ve learned to do that better🙂

Nah. My dad was a Libra sun, so more of an Aqua moon thing. I know of at least 3 other Aqua moons who habitually forget birthdays.

Emotionally inept creaturesIf you experience that you are doing something wrong.
Oh I know they can be softies when they want but God in general they're so difficult, it takes a very strong and patient person to truly put up with them, esp their stubbornness and know-it-all attitude which can remain extremely fixed until something life altering
You just need good arguments that aren't based on emotions.
If you are discussing emotions with them explain the how and why of your feelings and you should be good.

I used to be very cold and emotionless myself and have aqua placements so I know about that but then my hades moon and all my hard aspects to moon caught up plus my progressed moon is in fucking cancer and so now I'm a big ball of wussy fluff *sobs* I recently discovered whenever I PMS I get super emotional and irrational and start lashing out at him over the stupidest stuff that I otherwise wouldn't and that doesn't work well with an aqua mooner bc they're like WTF why are you so not normal whenever you're not near me. It doesn't make sense to them. It's not mee it's the hormones, but he has high expectations of me to be smarter than that LOL.. and idk how tf you break that down to an aqua mooner because they just can't emphathize they're just poopies

So I have also a lot of Aqua moon traits while being a bit warmer, if needed and I'm willing.
Break it down into a logical chain.
Explain to him what triggered a emotional reaction in you and list possible reasons.
This should help you as well as him as it gives you a better understanding for yourself.
Most triggers seem arbitrary until you look deeper. Or just you didn't eat enough.
No one can feel what another person feels. The only way is to relate and for that we need information to which we can adjust.

I found this is the only way to do it in a relationship for me to feel understood.
Every time I get emotional I just explain the reason behind and examples of situations so my partner can understand it.
But I know some people that can not put words into the emotions they are feeling, so it’s not so easy for them to see it logically and to be able to explain it. Specially when they are feeling very emotional about something.

Lmao. Aqua moon's are emo and loving. They can be a little loving in small increments. Or sometimes a medium amount loving in one large go.Point is they have an empathy clock that resets every Chinese New Year. Once it runs out, your ass has to wait until next groundhogs day for it to start ticking again. Now, it can run out by Valentine's Day if you act a fool. Or you can milk it til Christmas if you play your cards right.
They can give a little bit a lot of times, or a lot only one or two times. But once it's gone, its gone. Until they recharge.

i made a thread not too long ago about aqua placements being emo. that's all they are to me. if they're cold and detached they're not that invested in you and probably don't give a flying fuck. funny to me when people are like ZOMG AQUA DETACHED!!!1 COLD!!!!1 UNFEELING!!!!!1all i can think is "maybe if they actually cared about you?"
