avoid relatives/family with libra suns or libra moons without looking like you're doing it on purpose?

there's this libra moon i'm trying to avoid but this libra sun relative is basically forcing me to deal with her by guilt tripping me about it. the thing is, he has no idea how i feel about her (that i blame her for my father's death) and how we just don't get along. she's family but this woman is unstable. she sent my bf all these crazy capslocked BS over messenger and i just about had an anxiety attack. she's not mentally-ill, she's just super entitled. yet she expects that i will FOLD to her at any time. i fear that my relationship would be jeopardized by her. she ruined my dad and she's not about to do the same to me. these 2 people have always pushed me around and i feel like they continue to do so coz i don't really put up a fight. they always thought i was too soft and have zero respect for me. libra sun can't take responsibility for herself so she ruined my dad. and libra moon can't take responsibility for her so he'll ruin me.. plus my mom is so mad at her that she tells me she's considering a lawsuit (inheritance drama) and i'm very lowkey about communicating with my mom coz i don't really wanna reveal my position/my opinion (i have libra mars). why can't i just hate people secretly in peace? srsly.

i feel like my family relations are so strained coz of my neptune in the 4th.

Yikes. I'm Libra sun but I'm usually not pushy like that. Maybe it's MY Libra Mars 😂. In fact, manipulative family members are really cringe to me (btdt). Make sure your bf knows enough to ignore her, if not straight out tell her off. Aside from that you have two options. Stand your ground and be firm in the position, or cave and make pretend nice. If you give in to Libra moons manipulation, it will just continue though, be warned. And that's got nothing to do with signs, that's just how those type of people work.

he's not opening the messages but it's clear that they're crazy, toxic and hateful. i just don't wanna expose him to my family environment beyond funerals and weddings. i tend to dislike libra moons and i think they can pick up on it even when i'm very lowkey about it. and libra moons hate people that don't like them lol. libra suns are a little better.

but you're right on with the manipulation. the last time we were around each other was when i introduced my bf to her (trying to help her out with some business which she felt entitled about). and for some reason, she started to insult me even tho i kept my mouth shut 99% of the time. coz the 1% of the time that i did say something was only to defend myself from her insuts. after that encounter, i vowed never to be physically around her again. and i blocked her many accounts on fb. and when my dad died, i finally felt like there was zero reason for me to even interact with her.

at this point, i'm not above pretending i'm pregnant lol.

i've geographically-distanced myself from family on purpose and faked an excuse about profession-related circumstances that prevent me from being near them. most of them are very careless and callous and never really knew how sensitive and hurt i was and still is throughout the years. and i'd like to keep that under wraps forever if i can.

i'd rather be seen as cold than for them to know how deeply hurt i am. they don't respect feelings/emotions. the more i express anything, the WEAKER i look and the more reason to push me around. the pisces was around her for less than 2 hours and he immediately picked up on exactly what kind of person she is.

but now i actually need to have a firm stance.

So long as it doesn't directly effect you, That's for them to decide. All you can do is let them know of the issue and back off.

Letting them know is not judgement. It's both a kindness and boundaries by leaving a door open for reconciliation.

People do a lot of things hurting themselves and others out of ignorance. By removing this ignorance you give them a chance for themselves to do something about it and change it.

By letting them know of your boundaries you give them a chance and reason/motivation to change. For the benefit of you both now or later. Hell you might even learn of your own things through this as well.

In this case, everyone always giving excuses and avoiding any form of confrontation (healthy or otherwise) rather then being honest(communication) appeased and made her behavior towards you and others able to continue 🙂

I wish we were kinder to ourselves and others. This world would definitely be a better place.

This is a mission for boundary creation and enforcement...not astro.

Without boundaries you may well be waiting for others to be on your wavelength and respect you for the way you want to live your life...that acceptance may not materialize/ happen for any number of reasons, meaning you'll be holding your own life hostage based on others behavior which is no healthy way to live.

Maybe just don’t speak to her unless she’s speaks to you? Try to keep it cordial if you don’t want to be obvious. But don’t give them a reason to keep contacting you. If you just talk to them when you have to eventually they probably won’t continue contact.

Im this way with my Libra mother. We live in the same house hold and everything but being how she is I keep it cordial. I don’t obviously avoid her but I don’t go out of my way to talk to her and don’t rely on her for anything. I try not to rock the boat. I have a lot of family members who are hyper reactive.

My Aunt for example has a lot of Borderline personality disorder traits, so whenever she’s around everyone has to walk on eggshells or she’ll snap at any moment.

She’s done terrible things to many of our family members but everyone puts that behind them at family gatherings.

It’s very tiring though because you’re always on edge.

In my Aunts case no one can tell her anything because she’ll snap and make sure to ruin your life.

But if you absolutely can’t stand to even be cordial with your relative, then I think you should just cut off contact with them.

They guilt trip you but what is it that keeps you feeling guilty? Have they done a lot for you? Did you grow up with them around a lot? If they’re only extended family Im not sure how this relative is guilt tripping you.

At some point we either have to put out foot down for our own wellbeing, save your energy for family who treat you well, not ones who manipulate or deliberately mess up your life. That’s draining.

Or you can just accept you have to be around that relative and just keep a distance between you guys.

I get that’s it’s difficult with family members, because they’re still family. But sometimes you have to set those boundaries.

And don’t do anything for her either.

And as for your relationship, can’t you just talk to your boyfriend about how your aunt is ? If he knows he won’t be swayed by her, and she shouldn’t come between you guys.

i had to unblock and block her on fb coz dad died and we needed to talk about his ashes

whenever i block her, i just send her money so i don't feel so bad

It's not really a long list, probably pretty average. But I have Neptune in that house so I have a long list of imaginary lovers 😅 or potential lovers that I didn't take the initiative and make happen. Sometimes the fact that it could happen if I wanted to make it happen is all I need lol

libra moon is sensitive to any sign of disharmony or things looking out of balance or things looking unfair or people not being clear with their intentions.

one of my best friends is a triple libra (libra sun/moon/mars) and she will keep hounding you until she gets answers that she is satisfied with (also virgo mercury). she can be obsessed with knowing the “why’s” of a situation and won’t let up until she does. she’s not normally a combative person by any means but she dislikes things not being fair (in her eyes).

i also agree that avoiding confrontation just prolongs it...

nothing gets solved while the bitterness just intensifies...

they say 5th house is romance and 7th house is relationships and marriage...you often get along great with people in your 7th house...and they too, carry qualities that you may want in a long term partner. mine is aqua and i get along with aquas well...i tend to like people who are “different” from the rest....lol (aquarius-like)

might be true. i've always found it annoying when guys only ever have jokes.

my current boyfriend is a pisces sun/scorpio moon. and he is pisces, capricorn and scorpio dominant (in that order). and his dominant planets are saturn, sun and mars (all in pisces and in that order as well). and he is everything that you've said.

in fact, my ex before him was a cap sun/pisces moon (he was a cheater tho).

Those are valid reasons to distance yourself. You can’t appeal to emotions with people like that because they take delight at your misery. You say they’re careless and callous? Meet them halfway. Be curt when interacting with them. Don’t give up your ground when making your point. Keep it short and detached.

And your Pisces knows what's up. He's in your corner, the Libra won't ruin your relationship I'm sure of it.
