Theres an hour long video out there that puts the whole thing in a different context than what was reported for the first 24 hours.
It's time to let the legal system handle it.
I found it interesting how those teens didn't react with previous group that were calling them out and they were pretty harsh. Yet, it was a different attitude when faced by an older person and even refused to back off as if to size him up.

One good thing out of this is the focus on Native issues. I watched a segment on mainstream news yesterday where they mentioned the mass kidnappings, human trafficking, and rape that Native women face every day. It's late but it's something.
But yeah let's not forget about the children who are still not reunited with families. And two innocent kids who never will be, because they were left to die in the government's care. If anyone should be sued it's this administration for their gross attack on human rights.

The trump adminstration separated brutally hundreds of children from their actual families without documenting the families and children. Families we're sent back w/o children and the government still doesn't know where to place them. Not to mention the inhumane treatment of said kids. Well trump campaigned on both. He tried the wall in the beginning and he lost ofc and he dropped it temporarily. Then the attack on the borders happened. That plus multiple other issues and time has made trump lose pretty much all support except from his loyal base. That's why he went back to the wall and is now doubling down.
Unfortunately the kid situation is still a mess, a child died in US care on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful gift to the parents...

Children of unstable incriminated or absent (that is, the kids were found alone) adults have been sent to air bases used as temporary housing camps since Obama has been in office. As in, he was doing it too.
The Dept. of Health and Human Services carries all this out, not Trump, no new Trump directive, it's been like this since at least the Obama administration.
The reason they have to do it is because so many people get in, and become unstable.
Not criminals, not rapists, they become unstable, like, can't speak the language, don't know the system, where to go or how to use programs so maybe they steal, they get arrested. Then what happens to their kids? Kids are found, and have the right to food, shelter, and books.
The department is behind trumps' push for congress (CONGRESS because it is up to them not Trump) to reform immigration law.
Look on the dept of Human services.org website directly and stop eating the shit that twitter and the news outlets feed you.

Much like this story, there is truth to it, but it is so spun out off into a warped spiral that it makes giving children basic human rights, safety, food etc sound like Hitler.

No this is not true. The Obama administration never separated kids from their families unless they came alone or the rare chance they were being used. The trump adminstration separated brutally hundreds of children from their actual families without documenting the families and children. Families we're sent back w/o children and the government still doesn't know where to place them. Not to mention the inhumane treatment of said kids. Such as putting them in cages, ignoring sick kids, and forcing them to take medication just to quiet them.
And what do you suppose, as an entire administration, made up of both democrats and republicans, their motives were for brutally separating children from families and losing them, putting those kids in cages and giving them drugs?
The democratic party is corrupt but this is headed by an administration that is ruled by the Republican party. As to why, at it's base is pure racism but also it's what trump ran on in his election, it's one of the major things his base supports him avidly on. It's all fear mongering, racism, and hate.

Yes it's a rallying effort or last ditch in the case of the wall/shutdown. But again also a statement that is obvious which is "if you're not white, you're not welcome."

Well trump campaigned on both. He tried the wall in the beginning and he lost ofc and he dropped it temporarily. Then the attack on the borders happened. That plus multiple other issues and time has made trump lose pretty much all support except from his loyal base. That's why he went back to the wall and is now doubling down.
Unfortunately the kid situation is still a mess, a child died in US care on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful gift to the parents...
Oh and let's not forget about the "dangerous caravans". 😒🤦

Really, you don’t think these past few years would pale in comparison to actually slaughtering Native Americans, the trail of tears, slavery, a war over slavery and the bloodiest conflict for Americans amongst themselves, invading Mexico in the Mexican-American war (and many other countries), CIA projects such as MK Ultra and Operation paperclip, putting thousands of Japanese-American citizens (and to a lesser extent German and Italian-Americans) in internment caps in WWII, napalming Vietnam to such a degree that birth defects are still happening generations later. Not to mention any number of times when immigrants in the country were actively persecuted against such as the Chinese having legislation drawn up against them specifically. Same for many other groups of immigrants whether they were from Asia, Europe, Central America

I think there's been other much more devastating acts, though it's hard to compare really, such acts against humanity. It's just sad we've come so far to do something like this in a modern day. And we as a country should remember this shame as well as the past others, in the future.
