"After meeting with local authorities, we have made the decision to cancel school and be closed on Tuesday, January 22, in order to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff,” reads a letter from school principal Robert Rowe."

generally, security walls are dug as deep as 1.5m and should be over 5m high, mostly to avoid what you mentioned, boats are a tricky thing, they either go slow, or make a lot of noise, and most will have to go to the exact spots, like whats happening in the mediterranean sea.

Apparently someone got a copy of this "Vietnam veteran"'s DD-214.
Four years and apparently discharged at that time as a Private.

Honestly, what bothers me the most about this story is the total negation of realizing this boy is a minor. A high school kid. I'm sitting here reading comments of grown adults, that want to crucify him. Calling him derogatory names. Wanting a pound of flesh and saying "he isn't a child". Talking about how his name should be released cause fuck him.
But the same group, if given another context or situation , would also be up in arms about how he's a minor and should be protected. Yadda yadda yadda.
The hypocrisy of people is dumbfounding. People's morality is subject to their political beliefs and if the group they stand against or with follow or don't follow their own.

What bothers me, and what should bother people in the Diocese down in that area, is how quickly the bishop took the side of the false "narrative", effectively judging those kids before all the facts were known, and thereby throwing fuel on the fire.
