Think of someone opening up the sewer grate, and helping you get out.
While you wonder why you were in the sewer in the first place, it's sometimes nice to have assistance with the exit from it.

It was used as a metaphor to refer to people she wouldn't really want to have sex with and be in a relationship with as they wouldn't be good for her personal development and wellbeing. The purpose was to give some positivity to her otherwise seemingly morbid statement that her sexual and romantic life is at stagnation by showing that that's better than a very probable alternative of meeting a douche bag. All based on the premise that the person I was talking to (not you, thank you very much) is seeking something more than casual sex that could potentially make her pregnant or give her STDs.
Does that suffice as an answer to what a "bad dick" is in my opinion?
