In my thought process, he wasn’t deserving of those sweet like candy words and disposing of that card was equivalent to the card not existing. I wanted to remove all traces of me from his life…zero association with him. He fought with me over a card for two months and finally I got it back and destroyed it.

i know what you mean...lol i was bumping sad music laying on the bed after my breakup with my ex. that was several years ago but i still remember...lol 😂 i don't like staying sad for too long but sometimes it's good to just let your sadness run its course so it doesn't surface later on in uglier ways or come back to haunt.

I'm not really embarrassed by them or feel cringe....that always comes *before* I say them because 12th house Venus.
So, if I said it, I meant it. The turmoil in my tummy and mind is excruciating prior to expressing any sentiment at all so I hope the recipient takes that in account when they are given that and can at the very least respect it.

I don’t find a problem with this statement even now. Maybe that’s because my Venus is in the 11th house—but friendship is key to my deeper relationships. Then years past and I felt he was persisting and not changing his mind, dedicate songs every time we would interact and songs would be exactly on same words shared, subject. He did that on queue for about 3 yrs.
When I confronted, he denied. He used to love when I flirted back. After years of this back and forth, I finally decided to express myself more openly. I just told him how much he meant to me and that I struggled with starting to getting attracted to him.
Whelp. He freaked out and said I was being cringy, said it was all in my head… and that I was scaring him… that my behavior was not normal and that NONE of the songs were for me (wow, what a 3yr coincidence 🙄)
He is the only human being that has said that about me. But it cut deep because my mom always told me that it wasn’t lady-like to initiate, and always made me feel bad about it if I even started a convo with another male 😵💫 - so it triggered deep.
He didn’t make sense AT ALL and it was hypocritical because I didn’t say ANYTHING he hadn’t said FIRST.
