I was intrigued when I first heard this question, courtesy of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, but didn't quite know how to answer it. Any thoughts?

Growing up, I always said I wanted to be nothing like my family members, even to this day I don't speak to a majority of them. I'd like to think I've gone from a place of resentment to a place of indifference though. But does that count as truly getting over it?

Posted by augustmoonHey girl, where have you been?
My mom, in her 50ies, is still getting over her childhood. Needless to say, she is a horrible mother herself. Break the cycle: don't have kids.

I'm pretty sure I had a 90% perfect childhood, so I don't think there's anything to get over ❤

I have no problem with my childhood, but yesterday I told myself, "can't you realize that you are a grown-up now?". actually I have been this strong for a long time but yesterday I was missing that I feel it too. The reason might have been my Pisces Moon was very irritated two days ago. Why can't I simply feel that I can get over everything? don't I have enough proof?
Interesting enough I could manage it at one moment on that crazy day that I manipulated my mood from disturbed to strong. gonna use the technique more often.

Posted by DwellingOnMoveI like it, I try to count my blessings too girl. And some things will take longer to get over than others, but I'm glad you're feeling better.Posted by femmePosted by DwellingOnMoveWhat technique was that?

positivism. thanksgiving. telling myelf even bad things have a good side. that there might be a lesson in the bad things. etc. blabla.
I had a bad talk with a receptionist. that had irritated me. I also thought of going back to her and telling she was right. then I asked a random shopkeeper. she told that'd be nice but do it only if you are passing the place anyway. her kindness warmed my heart.click to expand
