Hm, I'm extremely quiet which I believe is very off putting to most people. She's a colleague, I'm sure she might have thought I'd be less boring outside of work. Poor girl, she thought.
Um, me and the guy had history but we had a lot of back and forth in our "friendship"..
We just never had good timing.. and I wasn't patient.. So I moved on.. I met my daughters father and we had a long relationship.. and the guy just kept dealing with females.. I never took him seriously because, well he was a Capricorn... & if you know anything about them, well, you know they aren't easy to deal with.. I'm actually in my first serious relationship with one now..
Fast forward to the date...
It was his way of "making it up to me" after we had so much lost time... I never took him seriously because he never wanted anything serious.. told our mutual friends he loved me but liked what we had.. Friendship with intimacy here and there.. I just assumed he was looking for sex because he was a pretty sexual dude.. AND I wasn't in the mood.. so I told him I was gonna go out and meet him after..(lie) then I told him I had to take care of my drunk friend ...(also a lie) & that I'd be there after.. and then he kept calling after a while but I never answered..
So when I finally called (the next day).. he described something like this:
a romantic night with him in a suite.. he had couple massages set up during the day for the both ... drinks, chocolate covered strawberries.. etc..
I felt like shit.. I was suppose to meet him early that day but I just kept coming up with excuses..
To this day he tells me he loves me and we should "drop the losers" (Our S/O) and get married..

So years later... after trying to do more than mess around, I thought the date was gonna be about just "sex.."
